Is there any chance of getting him? He's who Id really love to have in my frontcourt with Brown.

Rose or DA or Lue
Kobe
Odom
Brown
Chandler

That's one very SOFT frontline.

Neh Tyson is too soft at times. There is no way he has a chance with K.G or Duncan. Not saying that Kwame has a chance also, but he definetly has a better edge than Chandler. Tyson also gets into foul trouble all the time and has no offensive game. Happy with Brown and plus Kareem is planning on coaching him it could very promising.

No way I want Chandler.
We need Duncan instead; I heard from my friend's friend's friend's friend's gym workout coach that Duncan is on the block too.

Would you prefer to have Slava at center? Brian Cook, maybe?

Actually Chandler is not the soft one on the Bull's front line ... could you be thinking of Curry?

Chandler showed some pretty good defense and aggression during the playoffs last season and improved during the regular season as well.

His April numbers ... 10.5 ppg, 11.9 rpg, and 2.1 blocks in 28.5 minutes ...not bad at all. His biggest problem ... like Mihm's ... is staying out of foul trouble early.

The problem is that I cannot imagine the Bull's would give him up without getting Mihm in return so it would be a wash for us. Now if they were to be worried he might go with the one year contract and go UNrestricted FA on them ... they might be willing to deal IF we had someone they wanted.

Because of the hype chandler & curry recieved early in their career & now they had a rivalry which started in draft camp where kwame destroyed chandler and destroy both guys while playing vs them. Even with him detroying them because of the playing time and touches they got (more than kwame) they got praise why he got labled a bust. In wash it used to be a real rivalry & hate between the two tandems haywood & kwame vs Chandler & Curry.

For all those who wouldn't want Chandler along with Brown as our frontline, YOU guys have NO clue. He would fit perfectly because he provides three things that we sorely need: height, rebounding and defense. Tyson doesn't require the ball that much. He could get most of his points on put backs or dunks once Kobe gets by his man. The only reasons why I wouldn't sign him would be because he wants a MAX and I don't think he's worth that, and also because he has had a bad back, and those kind of injuries scare me enough to invest a lot in a player.

An ESPN article explore why no team in the NBA has made any attempts/offers to either of Chicago's big men (Curry or Chandler) - with hoenix being even more height-disadvantaged than the Lakers, one would think that at least an offer would come from the Suns..

A major factor is that they are restricted free agents.

Another factor is that Chandler's work ethics is questionable - easy to imagine that his numbers went up when he is eligible for a new contract..

If one is thinking that he would be a good starter, one should remember that he was coming off the bench at Chicago.

This is also another fallout from the George Shin Stupidity/Larry Johnson contract where journeyman/non-proven players are expecting "maxed-out" contracts where it isn't merited.

Regarding height, rebounding and defense - he has the hieght, unsure about his rebounding and defense. However, effort and work ethic have a higher priority within PJ's system.

Plus - I've got to believe that there are other players that have a higher priority, but we've yet seen the transaction - considering we're still have a fair amount of time before training camp.

I'd love to have him. Much more than Kwame but we just don't have a realistic chance of getting him.
