Lakers take a dump on this years' draft. Pathetic. They couldn't even make a right pick at 58.

We had the 58th pick..who did you expect us to take..it's not like we would be using any of these guys anyway

Crawford

Quote:
Offensively, Crawford has a balanced attack, mixing in perimeter shooting with a dribble-drive game, though not really especially excelling with either. Off the dribble, he can pull up for a jumper or take it to the basket, being able to go left or right, slightly preferring the right. He doesn’t have the best first step in pure isolation, but does a good job coming off screens or catching and going on the move with the ball. In the lane, he has a decent repertoire of moves, making use of crossover, jab steps, and spin moves, weaving them together well and pulling off some impressive sequences. Despite his size, he finishes well at the basket as he takes contact well and makes good use of his vertical leap. Crawford is also comfortable shooting off the dribble from mid or long range, and has a right-handed floater in his arsenal, though it’s inconsistent.

He may not be drafted... we could pull him from the free agent pool if we wanted. We likely would have the advantage being that he's a local kid.

WHAT ARE WE GONNA USE HIM FOR???

We already have a loaded backcourt. Idiot Mitch, you should have just sold the (bleep) pick, idiot.

It's always nice to see people crying that the 58th pick in the draft might not be great.

Wouldn't of minded the Lakers picking up Nelson or Forbes. Not sure if Crawford is going to stick. Nelson and Forbes have a shot.

We could pay him more to join the team, but it'll be at the expense of the MLE

Thanks for the info. sounds like a D-league player basically. We do need a 5th guard, but a veteran I think.
