Quote: | Offensively, Crawford has a balanced attack, mixing in perimeter shooting with a dribble-drive game, though not really especially excelling with either. Off the dribble, he can pull up for a jumper or take it to the basket, being able to go left or right, slightly preferring the right. He doesn’t have the best first step in pure isolation, but does a good job coming off screens or catching and going on the move with the ball. In the lane, he has a decent repertoire of moves, making use of crossover, jab steps, and spin moves, weaving them together well and pulling off some impressive sequences. Despite his size, he finishes well at the basket as he takes contact well and makes good use of his vertical leap. Crawford is also comfortable shooting off the dribble from mid or long range, and has a right-handed floater in his arsenal, though it’s inconsistent. |

Seriously, you guys need to get some perspective on the 58th pick in the draft. |

Crawford was pretty highly touted coming out of high school and was a bit disappointing at UK. He had to deal with a coaching transition last year. He played well toward the end of what was otherwise a bad year for Kentucky. I'd say he's a streaky shooter, he will attack the basket, and he's an average to above-average defender. He's better than Von Wafer was coming out of college and perhaps not quite as good as Kareem Rush. I say no chance he makes this team. |

LOL...I love how everyone here talks down all the picks the team makes then get overexcited for nobody's like smush in summer league and finally jumps on the jock of the players when the do well. Does anyone remember the "Sasha who?" posts or the why take an unproven Highschool center who played very little basketball (Bynum). Lets be patient and see what happens. |

Mitch back to his old ways. Wow.....the Celtics really know how to build a team. Giddens and Walker after winning the Championship?
There better be a great MLE signing and a great Odom trade coming soon. |

At least Crawford finishes at the rim. We'll see if he sticks.
Lets see who Mitch can get to sign on to the summer league team. _________________ "It's just a job. Grass grows, birds fly, waves pound the sand. I beat people up."-The Greatest |

Everyone was screaming for Hightower and we traded for him from San Antonio and the guy was a bust. Drafting this late is a crapshoot most of the time. Mitch picked Ronny in the second round and he did well. That was an early second rounder though.
Honestly how many of the 2nd rounders have you heard of and if all of these other guys mentioned weren't picked obviously none of the other GM's thought they were anything special. |

Hey, at least it wasn't that Reid kid they scouted. In a perfect world, they would have been able to trade it away for a future pick. I would have prefered Gary Forbes, but we already have three natural small forwards with Kobe and Lamar being able to play there also. _________________
