According to spanish newspaper MARCA, Garbajosa (ex-Toronto Raptors, PF) has an offer from the Lakers.

According to this newspapers, tough it seems pure speculation, Garbajosa will be signed in order to replace Lamar Odom or Vlade Radmanovic ?!?!?, that will be traded.

No other information about salaries or whatsoever. Marca also says San Antonio is interested too

Sweet!

Garbajosa and Luke sharing duties at the small forward position should push us over the top.

In your face Boston!

He´ll be playing this summer Olympics with the Spasnish Team. Supposedly, he´s completely recovered. He´s a Power Forward, but has an exremely good 3pt shooting.

Raptors terminate his contract because of his injury it has nothing to do with leaving the NBA.. and you don't think Garbo wouldn't want to play with his hero Pau?

Here's the injury.

Link

For some reason, players (or agents) talk freely to the media in other countries than the US. Anyway, I recall last year when the same paper talked about Maceo Baston signing a 2-year deal with Toronto that was like 2 weeks before FA even started.

The biggest piece of info is the talk of moving Odom or Radmanovic.

If this has any spec of truth to it, something is in the works and it is BIG.

I agree.. I'm not sure LA is thinking Garbo is Ronny's replacement.. something fishy is happening.

hmm something is going on ide say, after looking at Garbajosa's stats he is 3 point shooting bigman. I know he was having a solid season 2 years ago prior to that injury, he did averaged 9/5 for the Raptors in 28 minutes.Seems like he'd be a replacment for someone, dont think we need another 3 point shooting bigman. If anything we need a physical bigman, or hell this could just be a signing to get us more shooting .

Garbajosa is better then ronny, but i think i heared he was offered a good contract in europe. Raptors cut him off because when he didn't want to get a surgery to fix a broken bone in his ankle (he wanted to play for his national team) and raptors didn't like it.
Its a gamble with him, if he is compleatly healed he would be a nice pickup for cheap, if not lakers are screwed.

Garbajosa has a very good 3pt shoot, and his defense is tough. He can be very valuable for LA coming from bench. I Hope that signs with LA.

Not sure I'd think much about this rumor. Some people from LTB have informed me that this certain diary tends to take out these type of news. Then, they turn out not to be true. In the Summer, in Spain, since there isn't much movement, this diary tends to tae out this type of "news".
