The Manila Folders are pleased to announce the signing of Raja Bell, Rodney McCray and Dave Corzine. Each will add a different dimension and significant depth to our team. Bell brings a lock down 1st team all Defense shooting guard who shoots .413 from 3 pt land. McCray brings versatile guard-forward and Corzine, one of the original "Bruise Brothers" brings depth and toughness to our front court.

We welcome Raja, Rodney and Dave to the fold(er).

The Manila Folders, in a trade with Siberia, have acquired Kevin Willis in exchange for Dale Ellis. While we will miss the marksmanship of Dale, we are happy to bring in a proven warrior in Kevin. He will bolster our frontcourt depth significantly.

The Manila Folders are please to announce the signing of veteran Cliff Levingston. Cliff is the epitome of what our team stands for - hard work, hustle, and desire. As one of our forwards coming off the bench, we know he will bring energy to our team everytime he hits the floor.

We also believe that he will be a positive influence in the locker room and on the bench...something that all great teams need. Welcome to the fold(er), Cliff!

What do you need to be a championship team?

A great defensive team? Yes. Multiple options on offense. Yes. Talented players? Of course.

But, the important difference that separates the good teams from the great teams is players who have a desire and a passion to win. Every one of the players on the Manila Folders is a fierce competitor. They have each shown throughout their careers, not just great basketball skills, but a willingness to do whatever was necessary to win. Think of Alonzo Mourning, and you see the blocks and the primal scream afterward. Think of Kevin McHale clotheslining Kurt Rambis, then think of Raja Bell clotheslining Kobe Bryant twenty years later. We aren't playing around. Each of our players was chosen because they are warriors, one to twelve, each plays with emotion and heart.

And no matter how good your defense is, no matter how many scorers you have, or how talented your players are…without desire and heart, you won’t win anything.

Great D, diversified O, talent, desire and heart = Manila Folders

So, you're telling us you've filled your team with cheap shot artists...

I think you've nicely accomplished that. Kevin McHale, master of the flying rear naked choke. To complete your perfect team all you need is to trade for Bruce Lee Bowen.
