I mean I made this post basically because we all are Lakers fans and we all like Kobe I am guessing. I asked this question not to get a biased answer but to get what fans of the game truly think. Right now in this juncture of the NBA the question of the best leaves you in a complexed answer. Other than Kobe people around the nation debate that is could be Lebron, D Wade, I mean I've even heard that some say it's Manu Ginoblili. So there raises the big Q. I'm not asking for the best team player . Straight up hands down the most unstoppable player in the game. Has the total package where he can dominate all fascits of the game. In my book I still believe it's Kobe . I mean throw Kobe in last years Olympics in Athens where A.I ,Duncan, and Lebron couldn't take home the gold and garanteed you'll take home the gold. All those Manu tricks don't work on KB.

Manu being even thought of on that list makes the list a joke considering he is not even the best player on his team.

Kobe is the best talent in the league on both ends of the floor. But, I wouldn't call him the best player in the league b/c while he has talent, he hasn't been efficient enough on both ends to deserve that spot (Duncan is #1)..

now, of the three you mentioned, he is the best, IMO. (Manu doesn't even belong in the conversation, though.. he is good.. but not top 5).

A suggestion... make room for those who want to vote for OTHER.
Some would say Wade, Or Duncan, Or Nash, for example, but cannot do it because of your limited and leading options.

make room...

I think you're confused KingKobeDubbz. The best player in the game is just that. In ALL aspects. no way in hell lebron james or manu ginobili make that list. you talk about the most "unstoppable" players, but iverson isn't even in this pole??????????????????

the best players in the league PERIOD are kobe, duncan, garnett, shaq, iverson, mcgrady. NOW, i would say kobe is the best of the best. he's a defender, he's a scorer, he's a winner. i think he IS the most dominate scorer in the game and one of the best perimeter defenders as well.

Kobe is the best...No doubt about it. Duncan just has the better team.

And KingKobeDubbz, this is a rigged poll...Manu? What were you thinking?

It's better to have polls on best players of their respective positions. Centers and SGs can't really be compared fairly.

The poll should be best player to build a team around. Trying to pick the best player in the league when there is 5 diff positions is kinda hard. Some positions are more important. Its like comparing apples to oranges to pears to blueberries to peaches.

Kobe is the best player in the league. Yes. Just look at some of the people who have said that in my sig. Phil Jackson said it recently, although guys like Duncan, Garnett, Shaq dominate inside, Kobe is still the best player in the league.

Seriously, what was the point of having Manu on there. If KG, Duncan, Tmac and AI were on there...it might have been a tougher decision

Tim Duncan is the best player in the game, closely followed by Shaq. Either of those two can lead a team to the Finals being the first option.

KG, Kobe and Lebron vie for the 3rd, 4th and 5th spots... they have the potential to do what Duncan and Shaq have done, but till they actually do it, they can't be mentioned with those two.

Tough one...

However, I'd say that Manu is the best player in the NBA.

Hey I know you guys could seriously hate on me for putting mnau on the list and did try to add Dwayne Wade on the list at nuber 4 but for some reson he didn't show up. Hey but all of bspn talks on COld Pizza, Nba tonite, Sportscenter, and even TnT with Charles Barkley would even do that comparison and put Manu at the tops categpries. I made the poll for the simple fact of what the hell all these lame ass journalists say of who they think is the best in the NBA. It just so happens that alot of them think Manu is one of them.
