Garnett should be on the list aswell as Duncan. I think kobe is the most proven swing man in the L. If Kobe gets a MVP once or twice and wins a ring without shaq i belive he will be one of the greats when its said and done.

Ginobili has no place in that poll.
Also, Duncan should definitely be on that list.

Best players = Kobe, Shaq, Nash, TD and KG all tied

Soon to be = Wade, Amare, JO and Bron

But Kobe's still the man, noone can play him 1 on 1, noone

I'm with you, no way KG should be left off this list.. started scratching my head when I saw Manu on there but but no KG. and no Duncan either, WOW.. not even lebron should be on that list. still hasnt proved anything in the League.

Manu being even thought of on that list makes the list a joke considering he is not even the best player on his team.
Since the question just sayss .....in the game... without naming the game, It COULD be Manu, if the game is soccer, or rugby!

As a Spurs fans I could even agree that Manu should not be on such an elite list. Nor should LBJ. Great expectations-lbj and one super season-mg do not make the best players in the game.

As previously said, to leave out Nash, Duncan, Garnet, even Shaq makes the poll very limiting.

I'm biased and will say Duncan. He's earned it.

Kobe - 100% Absolutely the Best

Lebron - Good, but still has much more to prove.

Manu - Come on bro?????? Manu - Probably one one of the best FLOPPERS IN THE LEAGUE!!

Tim Duncan is the best player in the game, closely followed by Shaq. Either of those two can lead a team to the Finals being the first option.

KG, Kobe and Lebron vie for the 3rd, 4th and 5th spots... they have the potential to do what Duncan and Shaq have done, but till they actually do it, they can't be mentioned with those two.

I don't agree with this staement.

Those two (duncan and snaq) have won with the better teams. Like the question stated. WHO IS THE BEST PLAYER IN THE GAME. That leads me to one answer. If the game is on the line (Finals game) and you need one person to make a shot, who would it be.

That proves my point (Kobe), so snaq can never claim best ever, when in the wanning minutes of the 4th quarter you can't depend on him. Now Duncan maybe but both of their freethrow shooting is shaky.

When will all of you learn.

When coaches (Phil, Byron, Pop, Larry Brown), Players (Baron, SNAQ,LBJ,Tracy Mc., and Ray Allen), GM's (Pat Riley, Jerry West, RC Bufford) all say your the best. And I would say their the most knowledgable on this subject. What we feel is not relevant.

KOBE'S THE BEST PERIOD.
