I think Ngannou is a beast but I'm starting to side with JB here. There's just so much understated but next level smarts and game inside Stipe.

If there's a man made to take that beast into deep water, it's the champ.

Really looking forward to it.

I really, REALLY want Doo ho to win as he's such a young, dynamic and exciting fighter. With that said, he ate a lot of shots against Cub and kept going forward. "Who is that guy" is going to put Doo to sleep.

I didn't realize "Who is that guy" has a record for most knockdowns in the UFC until I was watching a youtube vid the other day.

Kamra Usman and Uriaha Hall are also on this card!

Expected it to happen but hoped it wouldn't. Choi has literally zero head movement. Send him to Jason Parilla. Kid has potential but can't keep getting hit like that and expect a long career. The one shot where Choi's head bounced off the mat was effen brutal.

Doo Ho doesn’t seem to have added much to his game since his explosive introduction. Namely, defense. That front kick caught Stephens but, in the end, it just served to wake him up. After that, Who da fook turned up the pressure and it kind of looked like man vs. boy.

Ya, you rarely ever see guys get hit with that strike today, where Stevens was standing and dropped his full weight into it. Mannnn. It was a good stoppage

Y’all ain’t lyin!! That was a MASSIVE punch Who da fook used on superboy on the ground man. Other than that a pretty boring card

UFC desperately wants Vanzant to be a star but she doesn’t have the talent IMO.

Uriah and Michael Johnson disappointed yet again.

Whittaker out means Yoel gets to get his hands on Rockhold. Luke just can’t catch a break haha.

UFC really will strip Conor and make Ferguson vs Khabib. Sucks to be Tony haha. You wait all this time and your first defense is against Khabib LOL. Hard knocks life!

Whitaker out???

Holy excrement!!!

And spot on brotha man ... The rest of that card was snoozetastic and Luke & Tony are about to get all they can handle and maybe more. Good for us as fans though.

PVZ should just retire and go to the booth, take Megan Olivi's job or just go into acting. She has no discernible MMA skills. The fact that she has victories exemplifies the lack of talent in the women's division. She has NOWHERE to go.

My predictions for this weekend:

Francis via 1st round KO

Cormier via 2nd round Rear naked choke

Can't wait for this card. First time I can remember both HW and LHW titles being on the line in the same night.

B-b-but Ronda should have just taken her down!

Sorry, that quote just brings me back to when everyone bought the hoopla of Rousey after she murked a former overweight accountant. That switch kick KO PVZ landed a few fights agao was beyond luck. She just threw it out there and happened to clip.

Just silliness.

JB I hear Ronda maybe joining the WWE soon. Ouch. I wouldn't do it if I were her. Being a professional wrestler comes with a grueling travel schedule

JB, that gif you posted of Correia entering and rounding the octagon was gold. Your line comparing her to possessing all the athleticism of a JV badminton player is one of my favorite LG lines in recent memory.

But, yeah. You were the one who woke me up to the ghastly lack of talent on the women's side. So, I'm not mad at you for that Rousey line. Dana was trying to prop up Cynthia Calvillo as the next Ronda before her last fight. Wut. She then got her first L hung on her by a fighter who's nickname is Cookie Monster.

There's some talent there. Just not a lot of it and, as you've pointed out, it's going to take a good long while for it to catch up.

That being said, it turns out PVZ was fighting with a broken arm.

She'll be clearing 7 figures annually with her name recognition imo. She's so young...gotta make a living. Or she might make a few appearances annually. Either way, she's gotta support Traivs Brown somehow .

Minor blip on Conor's radar, I'd think.

yup
stripping him doesn't affect him and let's the division move on.

If he ever comes back he'll instantly get a title shot anyway

The longer he's been out the harder it is for me to see hiim getting back into the cage after spending the last year as an Instagram model.

bahahahaha an instagram model! that's true! the game can pass you by. Maybe he'll spend all that time figuring out how to stuff Khabib's take down?
