Right again, JB. I just checked. He’s listed at only 6’ even. I honestly had no clue. He looked 6’3” standing next to Woodley. Middleweight, though he may be, making WW is draining him badly.

After watching that clip 22 just sent, he looks quite near light headedness or fainting range and it wasn’t even the day of weigh-ins yet.

Some more epic fails again for the UFC during weigh-ins this morning:

Nicco pulled out AGAIN. Valentina was right!!! Poor girl. UFC needs to strip Nicco and just hand the title to Schevchenko smh

What was up with the guy reading the scale during Woodley and Zabit's weigh ins? Why the hell don't they have a digital scale in 2019????

And they wonder why people don't buy the ppvs smh

Nicco was referred by UFC doctors to be rushed to the hospital, according to her team. Whatever. I’m with you, give the Bullet the belt.

As to why they don’t go digital, I’m not a doctor but I hear that those old school scales are the most accurate.

Mo, since you have a lot of experience cutting weight, how does Till get one full lb under the limit and look much less gaunt, healthier, tone, etc. than he did when he missed weight last time?

Weigh in the day of the fight. Weight cutting is rule bending and puts people in weight classes they have no business in to get an advantage. No different to me than using PEDs. Glad Till made weight, but he is a middleweight fighting smaller guys to get an advantage. Just my opinion. I know most don't agree.

Actually most agree! I’m for same day weigh-ins and hydration testing. Can never count on a fight to happen lol

This is a good idea in theory, but could potentially knock the quality of fights down, if you have to weigh in same day, fighters are still gonna be drained from the cut, whether it be 10 lbs or 20.

The idea is to use that in conjunction with hydration testing. One FC has a a really good, working model. A fighter had to die to get it up and running. The UFC is on a crash course in that direction.

Farewell Nicco, we barely knew ya.

Hearing JR talk about the One FC weight cut handling was very interesting and hard not to become a proponent for. I love me some common sense solutions for sure.

And I’m with you OLF, it’s become a cheat code for sure.

Yup fellas. Cuz right now weight cutting ability is just as much a factor as actual fighting skills like striking or wrestling.

Some people are fine with this but to me it’s dumb because I want to see who is the best mixed martial artist, not who can lose the most weight then be much bigger than their opponent

They need more weight classes. Not like boxing but jumping from 15-20 pound between 155-205 is way too much.

Yup!

125
135
145
155
165
175
185
205
265

Only makes 1 more weight class and solves lots of problems.

Humility can be your best friend.

With all that power, Till got dropped with one punch and then painfully schooled for the duration. He’ll be back. He’s young. Just walked right into a trap. Albeit an obvious one. But, yeah. Go up to middleweight.

The UFC’s relentless hyping of Till winds up working in Ty’s favor. His resume now gets a bigger bump. And what was up with Mirgliotta breaking up the clinch so quickly? Especially that first one. That wasn’t by design, was it?

I love me some Karolina. She’s a warrior and just smoking in a bathing suit. But dayum. Andrade jumped on her early had her terrified and absolutely wailing for her life. Right in the Brazilian’s wheelhouse. A female Anderson Silva is a great comparison. Looks like that’s who’ll be up next for Rose. Way too much smoke now. Rose can technically box her ears in and has years of high level joy jitsu to rely on but Andrade is a hulk.

Couldn’t agree more GTR! And he took the loss humbly too. Tyron is just to smart and skilled for him at the present moment, no matter how bad Dana wanted to pump up till. Agreed it does make Tyron look a lot better after. Anyone notice how Dana did no media after the fight? The memes have been ruthless lol.

115 is the best division on the women’s side. I think UFC goes Andrade vs Rose for the strap, and Joanna vs Suarez for the number one contender spot. Andrades power looked ridiculous against Karolina who has a great chin.

What did y’all think of that other welterweight fight? Both dudes dropping bombs and it’s over in 40 seconds haha.

And two knee bars in one night?!!

Also I have no clue why Dan interrupted the clinch those two times.

Of course it would be really corrupt if he was under instruction by Dana to keep the fight on the feet either to give till a better chance or make the fight more exciting. I’m not saying that’s what happened but would any of us really be that surprised?

Memes of Dana watching Till getting mauled by Woodley are apropos and hilarious af. That’s MMA World’s calling card. And what I love is that they play no favorites. Everybody’s fair game. During the buildup, and even we’ll before, it was obvious that Dana not only has beef with Ty but also has a very big rooting interest in Till. Missing the presser was weak and I have no clue if THAT’S the reason why but I can’t recall him (at least not in recent memory) missing one if he’s in attendance. Weak.

If this isn't a possible futures bet in Vegas it should be lol. More than who will win, that is the million $ question, will the fight actually happen?

UFC is prob pissed at Conor because word is he isn't flying out to Vegas to do promos for 229
