Ugh, Matt Mittrone's eye. Don't google if you're squeamish. |

Disagree. I had Dom with 1,2,3, TJ with 4 and 5 too close to call.
Funny enough, the judge who gave it 49-46 TJ gave Dom round 4, which I thought was TJ's best round by a lot. |

Same. I was watching Mighty Mouse stream on Twitch. He's got a great stream, he breaks down fights and really engages with fans. In any event, he had it 3-2 Dom as well. Close fight either way. Can't believe how good Dom looked. 60 seconds of cage experience in 4 years and he comes back and does this. Hilarious dig at his boy Kenny Florian at the end too. |

I wanted Cruz to win, but I am not sure he did enough to warrant taking the belt away from a Champion.
In boxing, typically you have to BEAT the Champ to take his belt, not fight him to a virtual draw.
Of Course there will be a rematch, on PPV this time, so perhaps that will better settle things.
My observations were that Cruz needs to learn how to punch, he rarely loads-up most of his strikes are just jabs...
He is the MMA equivalent to Michael Nunn for you old-time boxing fans... _________________ “Always remember... Rumors are carried by haters, spread by fools, and accepted by idiots.”

I think Cruz did enough, had him down as 1, 2 & 3.
Good job too, because I hate that smug little snake TJ.
Mitrione's eye was a little bit scary... _________________ Lakers, Chargers, Dodgers, Arsenal FC.

MMA judges give way too much value to takedowns that lead to absolutely nothing. |

Conor McGregor's coach: Chasing welterweight title next 'wouldn't surprise me at all'
Couple of funny things here. Firstly, if he is looking past Dos Anjos, then he may be in for a wake up call.
Secondly, I personally don't think Conor is big enough for the welter-weight division. Someone like Lawler. who has a strong chin and and even stronger stand up game, would be too much for him to handle IMO. _________________ Lakers, Chargers, Dodgers, Arsenal FC.

I think that thompson guy is going to be the next welterweight champ... Lawler is one controversial decision after another... that can only last so long. at least GSP really did beat guys.. it was boring.. but there wasn't really a question.. minus hendricks..
But I agree.. Conor is too small for welterweight..
if USADA is really the reason these guys aren't good anymore.. that really sucks.. get your crap together Brazil.. stop cheating..
its weird to think that these guys claim such strong faith in Christianity.. and then cheat.. i don't get it.. |

It's a broken foot for RDA so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt (despite the cro-magnon brow he's developing).
In any event, looks like Nate is gonna get the fight. |

Yeah, he's like that annoying mofo that pops off his mouth because he's got a big ass friend/brother next to him. His claim to fame is being Nick's brother. |

Silva's old and probably will never be the same after those injuries, but damn he's so entertaining and skilled. Unreal how fun his fight was. I think he hurt Bipsing way more, but the points went to MB. |

Slows the flaw in the judging process really. Look at the punishment that Silva inflicted on Bisping, yet somehow 3 rounds to 2 in Bisping's favour.
For me it actually should've been 3-2 in Silva's favour, but Silva's own antics seemingly caused his downfall. Should've jumped on him and finished him in the 3rd, should've kept the casual behaviour down a little more.
Think now the next fight Silva gets will only be a fight where somebody wants to take on a legend. _________________ Lakers, Chargers, Dodgers, Arsenal FC.

Even though he won, this fight was way more Silva than his win against Diaz. He looked way better. He was doing most of his antics, and did heavy damage. He needs to keep fighting. 2 fights a year at least. These are likely the last few we'll get to see. The most entertaining fighter I've ever seen. |

Grandma + mma. Really disturbing to watch... |
Agreed - Hard to watch. I don't know how whatever organization that was let her fight. |

Giddy about the fights tonight, although outside of Connon/Nate and Holm/Tate, there don't seem to be any interesting matchups or big names. Just wish they had more time to build up the fight - McGregor and Diaz trash talking is just too entertaining. |
