Looks like it should be Nate by decision.

Conor wins, but Nate might have gotten robbed here.

Definitely going to be a trilogy and the third fight will be the biggest ever.

Nor surprised. They've been unabashedly setting up a rubber match for weeks.

How did it go the distance?

Conor? I thought Nate won but it was close. Nate looked like he was about to be knocked out round 1. Crazy how the Diaz brothers take a beating and just keep pushing and pushing.

Not sure about scoring, but I'm assuming the knockdowns won it for McGregor.

But I was thinking a tie.

Nate is the freaking terminator.. Geez that guy keeps coming

Honest question:

Did it look like (in any way, shape or form) a semi-coreographed contest to ensure a 3rd fight?

Conor looked completely gassed in the 3rd round. Surprised he made it all the way through.

And at the middle finger Nate gave Conor when he was running away in the 5th.

What did Naye have to say afterwards?

I had it Conor, Nate, Nate, Conor and Nate in that order. The only one that I had to think for a second was the 2nd round, and even then I thought McGregor faded away in that round towards the end, negating what he had done at the start of that round.

Not a surprised at the decision though, because the UFC is heavily invested into McGregor. He's nowhere near JBJ or Mighty Mouse in terms of being the best fighters, but he knows how to sell fights. And at the end of the day, selling fights and making money is all that matters.

Connor did a lot of running

With the exception of the first, Nate was the aggressor.

Great fight, but idk about the decision.

McGregor was scared

I honestly would've given the fight to Diaz. Diaz is relentless while McGregor just runs away. Diaz kept coming no matter what.

Even with this win, I think it takes away from the invincibility ora from McGregor

That aura was shattered after the first Diaz fight.

I'm not surprised. They had to feed the cash cow.

Yeah the running away was really weak. He's such a good talker, though...He might be able to bull (bleep) his way around it.

If he ran like y'all are reporting, popular opinion is going to continue to shift in favor of Nate. The American public is going to stop carrying Conor like the hype wave was doing previously. Nate might benefit even more in that fashion now since he's been essentially saying how the ufc has kept him down while seeking reasons to hype Conor and keep him shining as much as possible. Time will tell.

Well the fact is the fighter who scored the most significant strikes each round - WON that round!

Conner: 1, 2 & 4

Nate: 3 & 5

Super good to see Cowboy win, one of my favorite fighters...

The major media has yet to report anything regarding McGregor running.

Looks like everyone's spinning this as a win-win for both fighters and the hype for the third installment of this matchup is already going from sparks to flames.

On a side note: McGregor apparently broke his foot during the fight and Nate walked into the ring with a broken or badly injured rib. Both of which are being used to shine further luster to both fighters.

Even if you believe McGregor clearly won...Should he boast about it? The "surprise surprise" part was really awkward. He marginally won if anything. The media is spinning it like he got massive revenge.

As for McGregor, getting whooped last time didn't shut him up so, it's no surprise he's going to act like he pulled off something more lopsided than reality portrays.

As for the media, they want the hype train to sully forth. To their credit though, they're also propping up Nate as well. It's a mutual love affair between them and both fighters. A clear package deal with the rubber match in plain sight.

Every major MMA media outlet but one scored it 48-47 McGregor or a draw
