| You forget that Kobe can drive the lane and get there too. Not to mention fish for a three which he looked real crisp with his jumpshot. And it looks like Ariza has a jumpshot as well |

if the staff wanted to see as much of the young guys as they could then why use the regulars the whole 3rd?
i know odom is supposed to be trying out different positions in the flow of the game but, come on, that 3rd quarter of his really stunk...
and coby karl and vladrad didn't do squat either... |

You know whats crazy that we lost by 9 points yet we led the jazz in FG%,3pt FG%, and out rebounded them 40-28. The thing that killed us was our turnovers 23-13. But once the regular season comes around the TO's is gonna be the only stat that lower's.

Whose better right now I say ariza and his jumpshot looked good I think Ariza does deserve the start. They both got the same rebounds ariza had one less assist but had 10pts in 10 more mins of play. I don't think odom would have gotten 10pts in this game. |
Great analysis bro. Ariza was supposed to score and Odom was not. They didnt even play much of the same position and were there for completely different purposes tonite. However, we should pick the all star teams from one pre-seaon game.

Didn't say that he is an allstar where did I say that? Just saying that if Ariza continues this that it might be a possibility. |

I was at the game last night and the player that stuck out to me most was Josh Powell. The word that kept coming to mind was "solid". He's polished, good hands, moves well, excellent rebounder. Not many mistakes.
I think he will average more rebounds for us than Turiaf ever did.
Odom frankly looked awful. I hope he doesn't let all the talk affect his game this year... |

| We lost but it was a preseason game....I was really impressed by Trevor's play out their but was entrigued by the use of Lamar at different positions... |
