Jordan---2nd year, Bulls vs Knicks at MSG, Jordan scored the last 18 points for the Bulls with no other teammates scoring. His last shot was also a game winner as the Bulls won 101-99. He finished with 40 points.

Tracy McGrady---2005, Rockets vs Spurs, McGrady scored 13 points in the final 35 seconds, including four difficult 3s, one of those 3-pointer shot was a 4-pt play. He finished with 33 points in a terrific clutch performance.

McGrady's game winner a running 3 with 1.7 seconds left, capping a one-man rally in the final minute to send the Houston Rockets to an improbable 81-80 win over San Antonio on Thursday night.

I would have to vote T-MAc on this, greatest closing performance in my opinion.

Reggie Miller's 8 in 13 > T-Mac's 13 in 35

Either way, this has nothing to do with the Lakers.

I have to say Jordan because T-Mac got lucky that his man jumped and the foul was called; the game could have ended differently otherwise.

One hit wonder is nothing.

When T-Macc does it for the second time (even just remotely close), give me a phone call, children.

T-Mac made the single greatest come back in the history of all sports. If you didn't see what he did you need to. It was something that if it were in a movie, you'd say that was way to fake - terrible movie. But it was real and it was unfnbelievable. And this is coming from the biggest Kobe jocker.

Oh please, no one is calling T-Mac an all-time great or anything. He made a great performance, and I know to some people it's a sin to praise T-Mac for anything.

T-Mac made a nice closing performance, got the league scoring title, etc... but how about getting by the first round?

Out of the 2 T-mac, of all time IMO is when Kobe scored 27 in the 4th against dallas.

Lucky or not, he still had to make the shot. That's what counts. I don't see why you have to downplay T-Mac's performance.

I'm not downplaying his performance, and i'm not saying he was lucky to make the shot. I said he was lucky he got fouled.

It's a poll comparing closing performances. Don't know what getting out of the first round has anything to do with it. Everyone knows MJ was a better player than T-Mac, but it doesn't mean that it is relevant to this poll.

Man, now I'm feeling like a T-Mac jocker. I'm going to go take a shower and wash this dirty feeling off.

Why's that lucky? Because a superstar has never gotten a foul called during the closing moments?

No, because factors that are out of his control become luck factors to me.

The refs swallow their whistles at the end of games, but he got lucky and got a big call.

He also got lucky that his man bit the fake and jumped, giving him the chance to attempt to draw the foul.

Correct me if I'm wrong but, wasn't that Bruce Bowen whom he got to bite on the fake? I don't call that luck my man, I call that skill.
