Third game in 4 days. Bynum and other players are not fully there yet.

What about the Pistons?
They were on a back-to-back.

Yes, I wanted to say that keeping Kwame would have been beneficial to this team. Thank you. Would you now like to comment on basketball, rather than me?

After watching season after painful (bleep) season of Kwa-may Brown, have you forgotten that he has a decent game every now and then? Don't take the bait.

Kobe has never scored 60 points in a game in which Kwame Brown did not play in. Ever. Coincidence? Nope. Ask Kobe what kind of looks he got coming off of Kwame's screens. Listen, I am just saying he would have been worth the 4 mil to come off the bench and bang for us 15-18 minutes a game. That's all. I also find it very distasteful the way such a nice guy is treated by the fans.

Who would he be taking time from to come in and "bang." Kwame is terrible. He has certain games where he's less terrible. I don't think people should boo him, since he got traded he had nothing to do with leaving. I do think Feb. 1 2008 should be some type of national holiday.

Why are you placing a laughing smiley after a true statement that you even went to the trouble of putting in bold letters? Phil Jackson says Kwame has a game, I share that opinion. He is not a star, but he is a lot better than some give him credit for. I suppose the double double he hung tonight was one of his less terrible games.

because our PG's are garbage. They still dont seem to understand that iverson will deliberately dribble into u to get the call. Ai had 10 freethrows, but to Dumb and Dumber, it doesnt ring a bell. But overall our PG's are garbage.

Hubie calls it like he sees it. He always praises the Lakers. Youre lucky Jon Barry that punk ass didnt do this game.

Well... they have a few days to learn.

Maybe Fisher and Vlad need more time to learn how to shoot the ball.

In my opinion, I always agreed that Kwame was and would always be better than Bynum. The kid is a defensive stud and has some real potential. Bynum will be good, but Kwame has 2.5/1.5 potential.

You forgot the decimals.

Kwame played a solid game, but he wasn't the only reason the Lakers lost tonight.

my thought exactly. seems like this laker team is just like the one lost to the Cs in the finals last year. whenever any team play us physical, our whole offensive game just breaks down, all we get is kobe one on one and other four standing on the corners. this laker team is still too soft to win this year. remember in the playoffs refs usually allow the more physical team get away with more.

p.s. signing of k. brown and trade for AI really put the Pistons back in contention in the east. now they have a physical presence on the defensive end to at least slow down Garnette and AI to tire out ray allen if they meet in the playoffs again. Good moves, joe dumars.

hahahaahahah. Kwame Brown. That will be the best game all season. He played inspired ball. Dont expect that ever again until they play the Lakers again.

PostPosted: Fri Nov 14, 2008 10:28 pm    Post subject: The Refs won this game for Detroit.

the pistons played a more physical and abusive offense and defense for most of the game and they went whistle free..

the lakers got called for alot of ticky tack fouls... even late in the game i saw rip hamilton and and one of the refs laughing and joking when the game wasnt even said and done yet.

also... when you have kwame brown getting a double double then you know refs had it in for the lakers.

Lakers 95
Referees 10...blah!!!

there i said my peace.... and im the least to complain about reffing but damn this game completely absurd

Well... the Pistons took what the refs gave them, so give them credit. It's a shame when the refs give them so much though and don't reciprocate for the Lakers.

Pistons are one of the hardest working teams in the NBA. And Iverson's the Energizer Bunny.

Because it's like saying Kobe has never scored 60 in a game that he's started with Derek Fisher in the backcourt. Or he never scored 60 in a game he played with Shaquille. Or he's never scored 60 without Smush Parker. One thing has absolutely nothing to do with the other. Seriously, you're really saying that Kwame's *screens* were a big reason Kobe scored 60? What about that game against Memphis when he had 55 or 56 in three quarters? Or the game against Jordan and the Wiz when he had about 40 in the first 18 minutes of the game? If you want to say Kwame is better than people give him credit for, because of his defense, his stellar rebounding, his shiny attitude or his sneaky post moves, fine. But saying Kobe hasn't scored 60 because of his screens?

Kwame's fine for what he is. But this team became the best team in the regular season and through the Western Conference playoffs last year - and made it to Game 6 of the finals - after Kwame and his burly screens were sent to Memphis. Those two things are more related than Kobe's scoring and Kwame's screens.

Hubie is one of the only people at ESPN that I actually like. The rest are a bunch of haters. Thus, the (bleep) sports network!
