i kinda agree with what you are saying. they have the defense to hold opponents under 100 every game, but it seems like they play great defense when they want to.

That's got to be the ugliest one footed fade away shot put off one hand by Luke. How can someone with supposedly good basketball IQ has such ugly mechanic?

define "good"

Beats me, that's what all the announcers keep saying about Luke, from what I can see, he makes some nice passes once in a while but makes just about as many bone head plays as well.

Which "half" of basketball are YOU talking about?

34 - 12 - 4

Pretty close. Right on the money on points, half the rebounds and 1 more for assist.

We had a horrible 1st half, but what do you expect after a 4 day layoff?

Agreed -- Lakers played defense only in the 2nd half.

Well, thanks to fan night, I couldn't watch the game tonight. I'm assuming we laid an egg as we only won by seven points to the BULLS? Okay, I'm probably reaching a little bit, but the Bulls are not a good team and expected this to be an easy win.

Wow Greg Oden had his first big game. 22 points and 10 boards but they lost to Golden State.

This was an easy win. Was the lead under 8 in the second half until the final score? Were they ever really threatened? No. Kobe played two minutes in the fourth. Pau came out the last five or six minutes. The last nine minutes were the definition of gar-bage time (copyright Marv Albert). Yeah, the defense could have been better, Odom didn't have to foul so much, the passing could have been crisper, but this is one of those games that's forgotten about in a day. That doesn't change the fact that, by NBA definition, it was an easy win.

Defense looked abit all over the places when I tuned into the forth, couple blocking fouls that the team shouldn't of gave away and I think Chicago got to the line a bit too easy aswell.

But I wouldn't worry about the score being close, Chicago were being stupid and playing right down to the whistle, even when they were beat they kept coming up and trying to get a basket, this was when the defense wasn't really playing which is why I think it looked a bit poor from my perspective.

Drew did pretty good that game.

The machine is on defense mode.

PAU IS JUST ON FIRE!!.

Luke is luke.

DFish is better than last game.

Lamar had good stats but he was whining a lil bit.

Rose is a superstar in the making.

The lakers had bad defense (except 3rd quarter)

Overall, Not bad but still could have done better specially on defense/

Best. Broadcast. Ever.

Seriously, how great was the HD Courtside View broadcast on Prime Ticket at the same time as the FSW game, but with all courtside shots in HD, no announcers, and no commercials!

It was just like being there!

it WAS an easy win, actually. lakes messed around, frittered away several leads with unfocused aspects.

On the radio (570) post-game report, they mentioned that Ariza and Sasha had to be separated.

First Kobe got in-between them, then LO tried, then finally Phil came over and Trevor calmed down.

Anyone hear/see anything???
