Best lineup...

C - Drew
PF - Gasol
SF - Odom
G - Ariza
G - Kobe

I'm not saying that should be the starting lineup, but it's our BEST (most effective on both sides of the ball) lineup.
The lineup we should use in crunch-time.

no way...Odom would be floating at the 3pt arc again...
i'd never put him back as the Point Forward

You know, you can bet the boys will probably fall behind, Mark Cuban will party like he just won the finals, random posters on here will say Kobe sucks and make threads about it. But then, the Lakers will win in the end, Cuban will look like he just got cornholed and Kobe will be god once again.

Just another day on LG.

CALLED IT! DAMN I LOVE BEING RIGHT!!!!!!

Lakers have a lot of work to do on defense. Good thing their offense is so strong so far this season. Dribble penetration is gonna kill the Lakers all year unless they can figure out a way to defend it better.

ESPN reporting that the Mavs are interested in Stephon Marbury. Cuban has started his annual meltdown to get a guy who once was an all-star and ruin the team chemistry a little early.

He'll trade Jason Kidd and 2 first round picks to the Knicks for Marbury

Yes, they do though every game cannot be defensive shutdown. But more importantly, the Lakers have to realize there is a target on their backs right now. They're not the champs, but in the west, they represent the road to the NBA Finals. Along with their current record, teams are going to come out the gate to see how they measure up.

13-1 is fine!!!!

For having a chipped bone spur in his foot, Bynum doesn't look half bad...

That Kobe guy's pretty good too.

And Ariza just keeps getting better.

You aren't going to shut down every team every night. I agree with what Stu said in the last game against New Jersey...I look at the opponent's field goal percentage than I do their actual number of points...if the Lakers are holding a team to under 45% shooting, they are doing their job but Dallas was shooting the lights out...it's still less than 20 games into the season so the Lakers have time to become a good defensive team.

Drew showed me something by coming out and playing hurt. He played pretty well and his block on George's 3 was NOICE!

First it's still early to be looking at the records but if you want to compare it than do it with the Celtics not just the west. We want homcourt through out the postseason.

Offense, too, even though we're scoring highly.

lol I love it man I keep hearing other posters on here that they want the easy way out and just get the ring. But how can you say that with the way we got our butts kicked in the Finals... The only way I want the Lakers to win the championship this year is by beating those (bleep). Even if I had choice of picking lakers winning championship by beating the pistons in finals or losing to the Celtics in finals I would happily take the latter.
