I pick Aaron over Gary, just because of the Tri.
The D must be equal. for the O, GP might be better.
But AM has a better outside shoot. Besides, AM is a better leader while GP is a locker room cancer.
So,

Tri: AM
D: =
O: GP
Shooting: AM
Leadership: AM

So AM over GP!

I'd say McKie although GP is a better player at this stage of their careers.

Why McKie?

For the veteran leadership alone. GP can't provide that. He's known as a big mouth cancer. Always was, always will be.

McKie fits to the triangle better and his d is probably just as good.

Although Payton is a better player, McKie is what we need more.

Great locker room guy, unselfish, fits to the offense better..

What are you talking about GP was a great leader for Boston last year. Just because some people express opinions doesnt make them cancers. If they arent saying they love Kobe and hes the best in the game then it sounds like you dont want to hear it. I have no idea why GP would want to come to LA. However if he did I would welcome him in a heart beat. GP not being a bigger threat in 2004 can be more phils fault. Hes the coach hes suppose to be able to get the most out of his players. As for the triangle like it or not GP has 1 year of the triangle under his belt and Mckie none. Without a Shaq we probably can use GP more for his post up game also.

I like Payton but he just couldn't handle the triangle when he was here so I choose McKie over him.

Who knows if McKie can learn/like it either but we already know that Payton couldn't/didn't.

Payton is still a talent and we need more guards with talent so I wouldn't mind having him return but I'm sure we are looking at other options.
