The last three times a healthy Lakers team has played them (Pau missed a game last year when he got hurt in the first minute), the Lakers have had a 20-point lead (of course, they nearly blew two of those leads, but still). I just like the way the Lakers match up with the Hornets, even with the obvious mismatch at point. |

Please just win!! I'm taking my son for his first Lakers game live......16th row left side of the Lakers bench. Let CP3 score and cover everyone else......this is what we've done in the past to beat them.
Last game Fish buried 'em in the 1st half with multiple 3's.
Lakers- 106
Hornets- 103

Did you watch the game last night? Did you see the anger on the face of the players not named Kobe? (LAmar, Ariza, Gasol?).. I wouldn't wanna be NO today... NOPE.. I would NOT wanna be NO today.... _________________ New Beginings |

It's time for Bynum to set up. Can't let Chandler push him around.
Our guards did a better job defending last game. Hope they will keep it up. Fatigue is a concern. |

They step up for the good teams. Last two times in Nawlins have been Laker blowouts. I fully expect 3 in a row. We got their number. |

I like to watch the Vegas lines to see the prevailing opinion of those who actually have something tangible at stake in the outcome. Rarely are the Lakers underdogs, but today NO is favored by 3. And lately, the Lakers have been consistently losing against the spread. Doesn't look good. _________________ Nerd rock in progress.

Doesn't look good, but I'm hoping the Lakers go out there with some darn passion. |

If the Lakers are gonna flip the switch, it's gonna be now. You're not beating the Celts after going 1-3 in previous 4. They need some momentum, anger and determination going into that game. _________________ The Man who Built the Great Western Forum

Prediction: 64-18 (42-10), NBA title.

Watching the game tonight. They'd better not let me down... it's one thing to lack sleep if we win, otherwise I feel like crap on top of being sleep deprived.
Go Lakers! |

Am I the only one who's sick and tired of the LA media overrating this team? Hello, we just barely beat the Grizz!
I just heard Money, Mychal and Spero talking about how there's no one to fear on NO besides Paul and West is just a solid player but not a major threat.
Are these guys on drugs? What about Chandler's defense and the outside threat deom Peja , Butler and Posey? Using that Logic, there's no one to fear on LA besides Kobe and Pau's not a "threat" _________________ "My thirst for domination is fed only by the game.
