Thank-you Mr Gasol 33/18, you bailed out Phildo on his blown lack of energy coaching style tonight, he didnt deserve the win, the team did, so thank-you for

btw, love your sig. that was the best line in the entire graphic novel and it was emblematic of why rorschach was my favorite character in that book.

That was my favorite issue of the series. Too bad we might not see it if the judge lets Fox have its way in court again.

So where are all these geniuses that claim officiating isn't bad because you don't get FTs by shooting 3s? What about all of Kobe's attacking tonight with nothing to show for it despite obvious fouls? Where are you guys?

Shocking.

Sarcasm? Because this is not shocking to me.

Yeah, sarcasm.

Too often it seems like Kobe is officiated differently than other "superstars".

It's rather sad seeing it happen as many times as it does.

It's because ESPN and the NBA love LeBron and hate Kobe.

I like the "Time After Time" commerical with LeBronze. Actually, like all his commercials, especially him wearing the Marcus Johnson afro. LeBronze seems to be self deprecating, less earnest than Kobe.

Strange win tonight. Good to see Pau come back strong after the crappy loss.

that porn bailout thing sounds more like a publicity stunt than anything else. more like they're making a statement against bailouts in general than anything else.

How many timeouts did Philsy use in this game to stem a run? Shoot, how many times has he actually used timeouts like a coach who wants to win a game?

We could go back and probably see at least 5-6 plays in the 2nd alone where Kobe was fouled and there was no whistle.

I don't know if this NBA is rigged or whatever but I personally think that Kobe does not have a good relationship with the refs. Either he complains too much, rides the refs too hard all game or what.. I don't know. It just seems the refs do not want to give Kobe the calls...

You don't see Wade and Lebron riding the refs like Kobe does.. and they get calls all the time..

yeah, that sucks. my cousin saw the preview for that movie at comic con and said it looks awesome. hopefully they can come to a financial settlement and get that movie out on time, and without any cuts.

The officiating wasn't bad. That's because Kobe didn't exaggerate his fouls enough like Paul did last night. Maybe if Kobe took some lessons from Ric Flair he might get a call. Let that be a lesson to all the youngsters out there. The NBA wants floppers. If you want free-throws, make sure you brush up on your acting skills!

Exactly, still it is funny as hell, I mean why not since we are practically nationalizing everything. That would be hilarious, we could have Sarah palin as secretary of pornography.

Coudnt agree more....he is just way too ZEN for me, he sits there emtionless casually making quiet comments to Rambis, I mean check for a pulse...

I cant wait for Phil to become president and B Scott to take over...

And yes I am serious, he could have slowed down the smeltics in game 6, but again, he let the players figure it out...

Yes, but Gasol came on and won the game for us. I'll worry about Andrew's ego later

what does that have to do with inspiring confidence?

You know that scene in Anchorman where Will Farrell says "I love scotch. Scotchy scotch scotch." That's what Philsy is saying on that bench, except it's about Luke Walton.

Hornet fans rip Byron Scott constantly. And he was often seen as clueless in Jersey and was run out by Kidd. But because he was great at hitting the 18-foot jumper in 1988, he should be the coach over Phil.

Also, do you watch Scott during games? He doesn't do anything either! Except he just stands there motionless, instead of sitting motionless.

Let's get a coach who screams and yells and calls every play. Of course.
