That's extremely frustrating, a long road trip looms ahead with a Tor, Bost, Clev sandwich, it's not going to be for the faint of heart. |

Guys--I woke up just as Derek made the three to tie the game up. Bringing in Pau for Bynum just as we were up in overtime: what the hell kind of substitution was that?! Did Drew have foul trouble etc, etc? Someone please explain for the basketball illiterate...I musta puked when I saw that Pau was 4-16. I love, him, but why take Drew out of the game? Drew was making shots and stops. |

Sasha continues to astound me with his poor court awareness. Same with Latard. But this starts with Phil, who put in Gasol who was struggling on both ends of the court in crunch time for no reason when Bynum was playing great. Then again in OT. Latard and Sasha should have to walk to their next game. and we didn't Luke Walton, who should've called a TO before inbounding that ball. Charlotte wanted to win. Too bad some of these Lakers and the coach didn't. |

Every time Bynum got hot, Phil benched him for Gasoft. |

Sad thing? Looked at the ESPN box score, and Drew's statline:
24 pts, 14 rebounds, 6 blocks.
He has his career high in blocks with this game. |

Phil took Drew out when Lakers was leading.. he put Pau in and Bobcat went on a run to tie the game. |

The entire team minus (Drew and Kobe and a few clutch shots from Fish) played like GARBAGE. _________________ Rest In Paradise Kobe & GiGi |

Larry Brown could probably break the Bulls record with this team. Phil is just a joke. |

Basically, ban him from basketball. |
Up 25 or down 25, give him some run.
Get Rambis to run the math if necessary, he doesn't do anything else. _________________ Love, Laker Lanny |

Yep. It's a crappy loss, but it's just one game.

Someone should tell Sasha and Farmar to keep feeding the player that can't stop by the opposing team (which happened to be Bynum in the 2nd OT). We need to make the other team stop the bleeding... not help them out by not going to that player.
Oh well... maybe acquiring Kidd for minimum may help solve this. |

Thank the greatest coach of all time who's choked it two straight times in the finals. Phil Jackson. |

Kobe fouling out almost helped the team really, was that much time left on the clock. An opportunity to have to earn a win without him bailing you out. Phil isn't to blame as much as Vujacic & Walton's foolish inbound play. Good game and nice try.

But but.....he's a shooter. You mean gunning shots from 2 feet behind the three point line with no one underneath to rebound isn't good basketball? _________________ Love, Laker Lanny |
