In-n-out, but either with pepper & ketchup or animal-style. And accompanied by the burger. On their own they suck...

Fatburger fat fries are alright...

Anyone live near La Puente or West Covina? Nogales Burgers has pretty bomb fries as well.

I love that place. It used to be $1 for a big bag of their fries but now it's closer to $2, last time I checked. Chili Cheese Fries are awesome there too...

NB used to be the spot me and my friends hung out right after school. Good times...

Don't laugh, but the fries over at the Western Heritage Museum lunch counter has the best fries in the world.

Yknow that western museum next to the L.A. Zoo. Museum itself was no big deal but the fries there were incredible.

i'm not adding anything new to the discussion, but i will say i do like good ff's.

like most, i rank mcdonald's fries as some of the best...as far as massed produced. i've always liked the thin kind the best. when they're fresh out of the fryer, light and crisp, yum, yum.

my fries are salt and pepper only. NO KETCHUP! places that use seasoned salt are ok w/me too.

a newer place i've tried was five guys. for the fresh cut variety they were better than in-and-out. they seem to be more crisp. and naturally the quantity didn't hurt. i was w/someone eles, and we didn't come close to finishing them.

my last place is fatburger. i like the thin fries the best, but i also like the broad fries they have since they have the crispy thingy going, but the center is soft like mashed potatoes. at fatburger, you can get a combo, so it's like getting the best of both worlds.
