we are the streak stopper aka streak buster!!

since the Celtics games are finished, this is the biggest game left this year. So it's time to stop stupid Cavs' homecourt winning streak!!

Lets go Lakers!!!!!!!!!

Wow, this came early. I'm not even done digesting our victory against the Celtics.

Well, BoT, The Cavs now have big z back. That's going to create a big problem, because someone has to stay at home on him on the perimeter, and if that someone is Gasol, Lebron's going to be driving to the rim with reckless abandon.

It's going to be tough.

We need to bask in the Laker victory over the Celts for at least another day before talking Cavs.

I don't understand the 08/05 part of the title...

Would be awesome to be the first team to beat the Cavs at home and to end their impressive streak. Especially without our starting C.

Gotta keep Lebron out of the lane and that's going to be very difficult with Big Z bringing Pau out to the perimeter. I'd rather we trap Lebron all game and force Big Z and co. to score from the perimeter.

Even with Bynum it would be tough with Z in there.

It's a risk that he'll just have to take. At least it won't be bookends since AB was ok in the first game in Minny.

Any neutral observations on which big man has the better mid-range shot? Is it Z or Pau?

Do you guys think we'll have major problems with Bynum out since he did an excellent job last time by clogging the lanes and not letting LeBron score inside the paint?

I am not too confident in LO and Pau's interior D.

on a good day, z wont get more than 20 points. we can live with that

imo the celtics are a better team than the cavs. dont care what cleveland's record is. come 4th quarter, the celtics have 3 guys who give us problems. not to mention a roamer on d in kg. the cavs only have 1 player, and we'll have kobe smothering him all over the floor.

lakers 98

cavs 97

kobe hits game winner with 30 sec left

i think Z has better range than pau but they are pretty equal on their accuracy of the mid range

Im really thinking its going to be the machine or cobra thats going to make the difference. Based on last game I think KB will take LeBron fullcourt and murder him into taking fadeaway crap shots we all know he makes .0023 percent.

So KB will be tired on offense , but since hes #1 in the game they will double him and he will hit Sasha or Pau and we will win and statline will look like 18/13/13 we will have 41-9 Cleveland will choke, Lebron will try a "crab-dribble" get called for a walk and then cry against the ref (D.Stern) and ESPN headlines will be. Lakers get a lucky win in KING GOD SON OF JESUS PLS LET ME EAT UR ASS JAMES' building. Instead of Lakers crushing the CRABS.

In terms of accuracy I'd say they're close. Pau has more of a face up game, he could take him from the high post. I highly doubt Big stiff can do the same.
