Jazz shot ridiculously well for much of the game. Once again players bring their A game against us. This time we weren't ready for it.

I'd say it's curse of the No 8 Game Win Streaks more than curse of the Nut Dance.

They put up a good fight on the second game of a b2b. Some bad decisions and questionable calls sealed the deal and Gasol leaving Okur wide open?

Hey I'm the one making the point that you can't win every single game, you win some you lose some, it's not big deal. This team can win a championship, we have the best record in the NBA, so what, we lose 1 game, big deal

We were due for a loss. No biggy. We almost pulled this game out. We don't win by much, and we don't lose by much.

Why is it every time the Lakers face the Jazz on the second of back-to-backs without key personnel, the Lakers absolutely stink defensively? And Okur always hit that big 3?

Gasol didn't get involved much in the second half?

Kobe 14-33 .. 33 shots ... how do you expect him to?

Lakers played stupid offense most of that 2nd half and still had a great chance to win it.

I can live with this loss - always knew it would be tough game to win anyway.

Lakers showed a LOT of heart and kept it close despite their poor play. I can live with this loss too. Utah is NOT an easy place to play in. Lakers despite it all still SHOULD have won this game. Gasol was MIA on the boards tonight, Kobe took some ill-advise shots but also made some GREAT plays and shots to keep the Lakers close. Can't win them all.

Okur with the big shot of the game. I bet we win if he misses that 3.

1) Lakers played like garbage yesterday because they disrespected Jazz and thought they can just come in and win it.

2) They thought they can just turn it on in the end and win it. NOPE!

3) Playing 1-on-1 basketball doesn't win games.

4) Blowing countless chances with selfish, stupid decisions.

1) ref's were terrible 3.5 quarters...started calling stuff late in game.
2) kobe needs to have ONE more true shooter in game (and thats why it sucks we lost radman) ... should have been SASHA, not Trevor at end in game.
3) did anyone else read the article about "kurt rambis" defensive schemes? looks like his scheme of leaving jazz players wide open under the rim went really well ...half kidding...everyone played NO D...except for Lamar.
4) kobe again had a lot of questionable shots too...

Its not a big deal when you give up the lead on a dunk out of a timeout?

Which one? There seemed to be quite a bit of phantom fouls for the Jazz in the second half, especially in the fourth.

way to head to the all-star break. hopefully this keeps them motivated for the 2nd half push for HCA.

Fine, so they made some stupid plays tonight. The Spurs lost too, against the Raptors, a team we swept so I guess the Spurs are a bad team too. We could have won this game, but didn't, during the playoffs last year Utah was a thorn in our side, in a 7 game series we would beat them

To think we would have had a chance at one more 3 at the end if it weren't for that DUMB FOUL CALL on Millsap.

Refs sucked.

Nut dance bizarro lives on.
