I think you mean MIGHT as well if YOU'RE going to put Powell on him.
Do you really think that Powell will be the primary defender on West? He's our back up 4. Pau or Odom or both will be on him for most of the game. I don't think West is so fantastic that Powell can't do a good job on him in limited minutes.

west is a baller. paul is an uber baller. chandler is a baller. peja is a gunner. heck, even butler is decent. that team is awesome, except that they arent. no trash talk, id like to hear the 411 as to why no hornets fan thinks this is the case.

i love this team. i can't quite put my finger on it. but it's like when you have kids, and one of your kids isn't the best-looking or the smartest, but as time passes, something happens...they sort of grow into their skin, and they're still not the prettiest or the smartest, but there is something about them that puts a smile on your face - that's how feel about this team
oh, lakers will win a hard-fought game. CP3 is no joke, and a b-scott coach team always competes hard, so i expect a lot pushing and shoving; and i expect the lakers to be standing tall when the dust settles.

As they're currently constructed, if the game is called fairly, 90% of the time, the Lakers win.
Boston and Cleveland have learned this lesson a combined 4 times this year.
The last game against the Hornets was a joke: the Lakers were at home and yet the Hornets shot 38 free throws, 18 more than the Lakers shot.
Yes, David West went off, but THAT'S the real reason they won. |

just got the call from my friend whos a season ticket holder and i'm going tonight, i normally only go when they play "weak" teams.....hopefully the lakers beat the crap out of these clowns....holla
