Posey is a player who has developed a Bruce Bowen type respect from the refs which means any foul that he commits will be looked at as a great defensive play. Posey should have been fouled out in the 3rd quarter.

I will never understand how some players (e.g. Posey) are allowed to be so physical when defending Kobe, and get away with so much.

Mind boggling.

The refs are scared a mouthpiece might be flung at them

I wanted to strangle that scrawny white ref running the far court.

what's the ref being white got to do with anything?

And what if someone posted that that about a black ref what would you say then?

I'm sure he was just trying to describe the official in question. There were two white refs tonight - Scott Foster and the other guy (who did appear scrawny ). I doubt Cedceb meant anything malicious by it.

Scott Foster in a relatively short time has established himself as one of the worst officials in the NBA.

And that isn't easy to do, there are a lot of very bad officials in the NBA. But he is on the "rise" so to speak right to the top of the list of completely incompetent NBA officials. Thus, look for him to get a lot more key playoff games this year and for bad things to happen to the Lakers in those games.

His whole game is predicated on drawing fouls, faking contact, getting the refs involved.

In the Olympics with neutral officials, it was completely obvious Deron Williams was the better player.

In the NBA, his antics are continually rewarded and it is honestly a sick, twisted joke.

The execution of this team in tight situation scares the crap out of me. This has got to be the dumbest team among the Championship contenders. They need to practice guarding the 3 pt line in end of game situation cause they keep getting burned.

To be fair we also have outexecuted Gstate recently and Celts and Cavs before all-star break ...here is what we need to work on:

1.Redefining the bench unit Odom has moved in with starters well but without Odom Farmar and Sasha chuck first rather than run offense ...maybe we start Ariza until Bynum gets back so we have someone to run the triangle with the 2nd unit ...
2. I agree Defending 3's are a weakness we need to be closing out hard on 3's without fouling ...yes we need to protect the paint first and foremost but we also must stay attached to shooters like allen, Pierce Mason, Bonner etc.
3. Get Kobe away from the 1 on 1 battles with top defenders or superstars ...
Anytime he he plays Posey, Battier, Artest, Pierce, Lebron, Bowen or Raja Kobe will try to beat them 1 on1 in the post instead pf using the screen or beating them with quickness or ball movement ...he makes their job easier and sometimes beats himself ...

Paul's 6th foul was a flop IMO. Kobe didn't push off hard enough to make Paul do a barrel roll. Had Paul not flopped and flailed out his legs, he probably wouldn't have ended up inadvertently tripping Kobe. CP3 is a great PG, but he committed 3 very bad plays that cost his team the game...

I see, I see.

Well, I need to ask a follow up question.

Will the circle expand from 7 to 8, and renamed to the Octagon of Ocho; or will there be a substitution?

(I kid. Nothing but love, Lanny. Nothing but love. )

I can't see out of my right eye why you'd think such a thing.
