Horrible officiating yes.
But poor shooting performance caused us the "L".

I was really hoping the Lakers could get to 50 wins with only 10 loses but that won't be.

The only thing that can be said about tonight's game is that the Lakers played as badly as they can. Did watch the game and really only saw the boxscore so my opinion is based on that.

But for a team to shot 31% in the first half and only be down 6 at the half is impressive. And to not even score 25 in one quarter for the best offensive team in the league and still be in it with 4 minutes remaining shows that even when this team sucks, they still have a chance to win a game.

That is the only thing to take out from this game, the Lakers play one of their worse games of the season and were in it for the most part, and Lamar came away with 19 rebounds.

A better shooting night from Lamar and Pau and this game turns into a W.

Lakers were due for a loss. They can't put together a double digit winning streak.

It's only one game. This doesn't erase what they've accomplished @ Boston, @ Cleveland, and everything since The Big Potential went down.

yes its only one game, but expect playoff games to be similar to this, grind it out type of game

Don't care about the officials, Lakers played badly tonight, didn't sound like they got to Denver in good time and it sounded like they didn't have time for a practice or anything, so to be in it with a few minutes to go should atleast be applauded.

Now move onto Phoenix and just put the beatdown on them to let out the frustations of tonight.

I'd love to hear someone bring up the record with Kobe shooting over 30 shots again. Didn't that have a thread. I'd rather lose as a team than lose with Kobe jacking shots

Yeah, Kobe shooting 5 less shots would have let the bench do better than 2 of 20.

I don't like the fact that Denver is going to be a tougher match-up now--I can see them causing problems similar to Utah with Billups. But with this being a back to back, and on the road, this loss would have been a lot easier to take if Boston and Cleveland had lost.

Nobody said that this game erased anything...but "The Big Potential" as you call him was killing folks when he went down...How many balls got slapped out of Gasol's hands tonight-- he was gassed-- with our full compliment of players we're untouchable.

gotta agree with the op. Some of the worst officiating i've seen in a while on both teams. Denver played through it, the lakers are a rhythm team so it affected them more.

well, they did lose a couple days ago, or whenever that was--to the Clippers(?!) and the Rockets respectively, so, at least they've had some recent losses too.

Thanks for clearing that up for me. I looked it up and you're right. TruthBombs is synonymous with troll.

no creativity at all from this coaching staff. when we were up in that 3rd quarter and the only guy making shots for Den was billups why not put Ariza on him. we've seem trev shut down opposing pg before.

If we face Denver in the playoffs, it will be a sweep again. We shot under 30% and the game still went down to the final minute.

The complaining about the refs is pathetic. You can't shoot under 30% and expect to beat a decent team.

It's not that simple, we were hacked on a lot of those misses.....You can't just look at stats.....
