Sadly, I would have to go with Taft. He has great potential as well, was actually projected to go the #1 overall at one point and had always been projected first round.

Well yes, but that was before he forgot what terms "work" and "ethic" meant. There's a reason he slipped to the 2nd round from the lottery: he didnt have lotto talent. Turiaf on the other hand was always projected as late 1st- early 2nd. And because once Turiaf returns he will have a thriving career as a hustler, im glad we picked him

I would rather have Taft, and it has nothing to do with Turiaf's heart condition.

Hell no. Turiaf will be one of the best lakers of all-time - you heard it here first.

Rambis is one of the all-time favorite Laker. Why? Because of his hustle and "heart". Turiaf will add his own folklore in Laker history because of his hustle and "heart".

I hope Ronny attends some of the games. He gives off such a great vibe.

I would of still chose Turiaf.....You dont find the type of player that Ronny is often. And when he comes back he'll be stronger and better than ever.

why does it have to be between Turiaf and Taft? If I had a chance id definitley pick Taft over Wafer. I have no idea why we didnt..we could of had an awseome front court when all our players were healthy and ready. I think Wafer could of definitley gone under the radar and would of been a nice spl invitee.

Turiaf over Taft, Taft over Wafer. I have a feeling there will be some teams regretting they didn't take Taft, us being one of them. Taft will contribute this year.

Turiaf. There is no doubt in my mind he will be back next year playing like a wild man once again.

Taft on the other hand has yet to show he even really WANTS to play ball and will have a hard time beating Diogu for minutes.

Turiaf had heart problems, but they have been repaired. Taft has another kind of heart problem, but it remains to be seen, whether or not, it will be repaired. The Lakers don't believe Taft has the motivation to take it to the NBA level.

Get over yourself! This is not a troll. This is a legitimate question. The elitist attitude on this board makes me sick sometimes. You seem to be the 12 year old who wants it his way. No one is allowed to talk about anything that you don't approve of? Grow up.
