Created this Top 10 list yesterday about big-time college basketball programs and their ability to produce NBA talent (current not past players).
Using this list as a guideline, which universities do you think are the best at producing NBA players? |

Quote: | Duke’s Top 5 is loaded with controversial players. Boozer duped Cleveland owner Dan Gilbert, who is blind, by promising to re-sign with the Cavs in 2004 (causing Cleveland to make him an unrestricted free agent), only to sign with Utah for more money. Brand lured Baron Davis to the Clippers this offseason by promising that the two of them would play together in 2008-09, only to exercise a player option with L.A. and sign with Philadelphia; a move that set both franchises back at least a year. And Magic guard J.J. Redick is one of the most despised players in college basketball history. |
Dan Gilbert is the current owner and he isn't blind. It's the former owner, Gordon Gund, you were thinking of. |

Why is JJ Redik considered as a despised player? Just wondering.

How about the fact that the best NBA talent never went to college?
Kobe
Garnett
Lebron
Dwight
Kwame Brown

Anyone know which high school has produced the most NBA talent? I'm not talking about straight from high-school to the NBA. Which high-school has had the most NBA players come through it? |

One's I got:
68 University of California Los Angeles
58 University of North Carolina
52 University of Kentucky
47 Indiana University
46 Duke University
41 University of Kansas
...
35 University of Arizona
...
33 University of Michigan
32 North Carolina State University
31 University of Maryland
...
31 Michigan State University
31 The Ohio State University
...
27 Marquette University
...
25 Georgia Institute of Technology
25 University of Memphis
25 University of Connecticut
...
24 University of Southern California
...
24 University of South Carolina
I surprizingly missed a lot of them. I was certain Houston, Stanford, West Virginia and Navy would have been on the list. |

Probably one of those powerhouse basketball schools, like Oak Hill Academy. |

For some reason I was convinced Georgetown would be on that list. _________________
