Try living in Houston and having to hear the biased ass Bill Worrell and Matt Bullard everytime they play each other.....they literally went and reviewed the play where Odom had the ball hit the out of bounce like and the ref giving us the ball....they literally went back and replayed it like twice and circled the ref looking and the ball hitting out of bounce....smh....and they dog the (bleep) out of Artest now....they're all biased ass homers if you ask me

They didn't like artest much last season. They thought he dribbled to much and his defense was overrated. Plus he stunk it up against the Lakers in the playoffs.

He did the right thing. You don't leave equipment on the court so someone can fall on it and get injured.

i clearly remember a moment during our first championship run in 2000 against the pacers, reggie miller falls (surprise surprise!) into the lakers bench. as the lakers were running down for a fast break, ac green sitting on the bench grabs reggie and holds him there while the refs aren't looking to keep him from getting back on defense. made me laugh.

Worrell is better than most. Bullard, however, is an ass.

lol some of ya'll are such homers saying Artest was just trying to keep anyone from getting injured. He knew Ariza was right there and it was his shoe that had just fallen off. If you wanna say it's funny then that's cool but don't say he was doing the responsible things. That's just stupid.

Actually it has nothing to do with class or being dirty. Someone could step on it. He just threw off to the baseline.

Whatever the reason I'm glad he did it. Can't have someones big ass size 14's on the court.

If Ariza's shoe comes off, that is Ariza's fault. And Ron grabing it and tossing it off the court makes perfect sense to me. Funny stuff.

Didn't Laimbeer once throw his shoe at the ball when someone shot a jumper?

lol yeah right, Ron Ron basically took the shoe out of Ariza's hands. It was obvious Artest knew Ariza was right there and was in the process of picking it up when he tossed it to the sideline. He did it to piss Ariza off.

Just a savvy veteran move... you could consider that good transition defense.
