If you guys are frustrated by the sloppy play, remember that this exact scenario played out during the 2008 campaign when Gasol twisted his ankle in the New Orleans game during the regular season. Gasol was out for 2-3 weeks, and the lakers were playing the exact style basketball that we are seeing right now. We lost games against the Grizzlies and Bobcats at the staples center in that stretch, and barely scrapped by the wizards in overtime to get the W. As soon as Pau came back, we returned to elite status, and started blowing teams out again. So just one more night of this kinda basketball, and back to dominating soon enough. |

I think that Gasol can elevate Lamar's game in ways that Kobe simply does not. Yeah I said it. |

The lakers have lost a total of 9 home games with Pau Gasol in the starting lineup since 2008. |

Right, and some of those losses never should have happened. Losing at home to Charlotte and losing at home to Houston in the playoffs is inexcusable. Both of those games were with Pau playing. There have also been a number of sloppy wins. |

kobe is hurt, LO is hurt, fisher looks like he has some kind of knee or foot problem. which is killing his lift on his shot(all of his 3's are short. all of them). Luke pinched a nerve in his back. we didn't have luke vs the rocks. YES luke makes that much difference for the bench. so does gasol pushing LO back to the pine, even if Lo was hurting he wouldn't be needed as much as he is now. if gasol were playing.
and he can still scare any teams bench into helping on him which frees up the rest of the guys. walton will most of the time make the proper pass if its passed his way. on top of his shot started dropping again. then BAM he's down. |

Last time I checked Houston was kinda hurt too... They don't have their starting allstar center and their best scorer in Tmac. We still had Kobe, Lamar, Artest, and Bynum... shouldnt a team consisting of those 4 be able to beat a team lead by Ariza and freakin Brooks? Cmon now! Its inexcusable! |

I thought he had a twitch in his elbow that causes him to shoot out of nowhere. |

Let Fish tell it...he can play until he's 40!
Problem is, the NBA got rid of the All-Timers game! |
