Lakers may be able to have a high seed this year, Lakers can be better than the Kings, the Warriors, and the Amareless Suns, the only competition I believe we have, believe it or not, are the Clippers.

This means nothing for the Lakers. It gives better positoining to teams like the Warriors and Clippers, because they are already better than us to begin with.

Dont look to hard on the warriors, they won out when nothing mattered, its totaly different winning 9/10 in a pressure situation and competing for a playoffs spot. THe clippers dont make me laugh , they've had great talent for a a couple years now, yet seem to do jack with it., their the clippers they jus stink.

I have said this for weeks
#8
DG(or McKie)
LO
Kwame
Mihm
This is a HUGE long athletic line up. Usually teams this size either lose muscle or hops. we dont. According to our reporter our defense should be straight=lead the league in RB's and opponents FG%. If we are near the tops in these categories it really wont matter about individual stats. and we should be competeing for a top4 seed.

Actually it appears Kenny Thomas will be starting at the 4 for the Kings. He's already been complaining about not wanting to come off the bench.

That would be rather stupid of them to put a 20/10 guy on the bench for a 15/8 guys, but these are the queens, their still reeling from losing the title best Queens of sacramento

Queens
Clippers
Suns
Lakers
Warriors

Im still not sold that the Lakers would be decent this year. I have to see them for myself. I expect Kings to be good. And I guess Clippers could blow it, but I doubt especially if they were to get Pierce. I think Suns will hang around maybe even pass Clippers if Amare is effective once he gets back. So it comes down to Lakers and Warriors for last in the division Lakers slightly above them.

I believe that Amare will be back by the three to four week mark of the season.......So the Suns will be back to full strength at about the 10 to 15 game mark......barring any further complications to his knee........

Anyways.I would like to see the lakers beat the Suns at full strength.Forget taking the cheap way in for a division title.........

I think if all goes well, and we can have all cylinders on full blast......Kwame getting 16 and 10........Mihm playing for 32 minutes and giving us 13 and 9........ Lamar grasping the "pippen role" with 17,9 and 6........ And Kobe really showing us his best in his "Intended role"......Striker........As well as play a "D" that allows a low 90's point total............ and the other role players all doing there intended assignments we can win the division........................................ And fight with the Suns,Rockets,Mav's,Nuggets for that 2nd to 6th seed........

EDIT: ....................... I just found out that Amare is out for 4 months..... (A real shame) fun to watch,I hope he gets back at full strength......

I quess now it's lakers in a battle for the 2nd to 5th seed........

Suns are going to slip mightly because their new focus on D, was not too be dominat but just better . They were banking on that O scoring around 110 again, and their D droping too around 98 against. Those who say they lost too much are fooling yourself because stoudamire only took around 15/16 shoots a game last year. With Q and J.J gone that was going up to close to 20/21 , he easily would drop 30/10/2 this year.
