Let's give some love to Vlad guys.

He's played very well last two games.
Hustling, focusing, battling on defense, not making those 'stupid'decisions.

I just can't understand why Luke is starting, and we can all bet Vlad feels the same way.

However, he didn't make any comments about it, just worked, and looks like determend to EARN his minutes back, especailly in the defensive end.

I like his attitude, and the threes are still falling.

Stay tough vlad!

He played hard out there today in limited minutes I still think he was benched without proper reason and for the WRONG guy to take his place.

No reason Luke should be starting. None.

I can understand Phil limiting Drew's minutes based on effort, but the same excuse doesn't fly with Vlad. He's a flat-out better player who would be ahead of Luke in any NBA rotation on any team. Phil needs to reward his play with his old role back. If you don't want to start him, fine, start Trevor and make him the primary backup, but this is bordering on insanity now.

Props to Vlad ?

Please never say that if you are really watching his play and defense on the court.

Should be back in the starting lineup immediately. Luke is looking even more out of place than ever as a participant in an NBA game.

I thought Luke played a good game, actually. However, I also know that a lot of people around here decide that Luke had a bad game before the game starts and nothing that happens in the actual game affects their opinion. It's just the general LG herd mentality.

To me, Vlad and Luke are both just nothing-special components of our nothing-special SF contingent. As expected, the initial "We better sign Ariza to a big extension before he gets a max contract" folks are being replaced by some Ariza bashing as his flaws, like terrible shooting, become more clear to some people.

Props, I fully expect him back in the starting five if he keeps this up!

I think Vlade is gonna get his spot back soon, Luke will come off the bench for distribution purposes to cover farmar's absence

If L.O was cool and humble about giving up his starting spot Vlad should be the same.

When your playing for a championship contender I think Ego goes out the door.

It's all about the RING!!!!

LET'S GO LAKERS!!!!!!!!!!!

What was dumb about the and one? He moved his feet and kept the faster little guy infront of him. Conley jumped into Vlad's space and made the lucky shot. That was clearly an offensive foul. The defender has the right to his space, even if he leaves his feet as long as he goes straight up and down.

I don't think any NBA player is cool and humble about losing starting time. It's just that some guys are better at dealing with the media and hiding what they really feel from the press and fans.

I agree on both counts....

The lakers were leading the NBA in scoring. Winning game after game. And PJAX came up with the "LAME" excuse that the team needed better ball movement?

PJAX has never liked Vlad,I have noticed many times that when Vlad gets it going early on,he suddenly is regulated to the bench in the 2nd half, getting very few minutes.I think this is a case of keeping a guy down? I cannot prove it,but their is something fishy there. PJAX called him space cadet, that was unfair,Vlad will have that tag for years to come.

Now why would you suddenly bench a guy that in the 6 games prior to the benching had very good numbers....

10.5 points per game...
50% shooting
48+% from 3 point land... 46% overall for the season.
And all this in just 21 minutes per game...

I'll tell you why....He is "sweet on LUKE"...

Hey if you are going to change things up,go with Ariza,go with LO,he needs some kind of jump start. Go with Sasha (with Kobe going to the 3) Anything but Luke...

Vlad got royally flushed by Mr PJAX...

Vlad is giving his all out there. Its easy to see. He wants to win and wants to play. I don't see that with Bynum honestly right now.

Phil is a tool, end of story. I don't have anything against Luke, he has played better than expected since coming back, but he didn't deserve to take Vlade's spot. As others have said; if Phil gave it to Ariza, Odom, or Sasha as an experiment, we would all have better understood the concept. But to take out a player who was playing well offensively and trying much harder this year defensively, for a player that can't shoot and is a much worse individual defensive player, its no wonder any player isn't going to get ticked, and tell the coach to his face that he is a tool.

And that is the main reason I have lost a lot of respect for Phil. Esp. in the finals last year. He played Luke like 80 mpg when it was clear to everybody but Phil that he was getting killed by every Celtic.

Vlad's brought the effort all year, just had some bad decision making sprinkled in along the way. I bet if you were to compare how many bad decisions were made between LO and Vlad, LO would win by a landslide though, that's why the whole benching, especially complete benching without communicating reaks of typical Phil hypocrisy.
