I am just curious how many Lakers' fans we have here from the great Detroit area, including Ann Arbor?

Don't you have your own thread to chime in on.

Are there ANY Lakers-friendly pubs or restaurants in the area?

And do they take advantage of that and show all games?

I'd be up for that some time.

no but you can ask, and they'll put it on. shouldn't be a problem as long as it's not at the same time of a detroit game.

PostPosted: Tue Feb 10, 2009 9:48 am    Post subject: Laker Fans in Detroit area...for the game 3/26/08....delimma

I think i'm about to go to this game by my damn self cuz no one else likes the Lakers or basketball for that matter enough to shell out $220 on tickets and gas money to get to Detroit (i live in Battle Creek). I hate to go alone, but everyone that said they would go bailed out.

I have to see our fellas in action when they come soooo close to my hometown. I don't know what to do. I hate to cancel and not go just becuase no one else wants to go........it sucks living in Michigan....were it's hard to find TRUE LAKERS fans like myself....

an advice

I used to live in Michigan and went to Laker games at the Palace 3 times in the last 6 years (including last year). I've always gone with one of my friends (all of whom are Pistons fans) but it hasn't really been that much fun for me since L.A. always loses the game.

I am thinking I will still go, but we should definitely plan ahead for next year when the defending champions come to Detroit. Make it one big LG party at the Palace. I think we have plenty of LAL fans in the area to make it a fun event.
