Obviously most horror movies will fit the description, but try to stay away from them (eventhough I didnt completely )

Here are a few of mine that have stuck with me through the years:

-Full Metal Jacket (pretty much all of it)
-The Road (there's alot of parts that screwed with my sleeping habit, but saying that the book was worse)
-Misery (the sledgehammer part)
-Irreversible (i was one of the unfortunate ones to watch that movie, but that rape scene seriously scarred me for life, although the fire extinguisher murder was probably worse)
-American History X (the eating the curb part)
-Poltegeist (the tree part haunted my childhood)
-Pet Sementary (the scalpelling of the archilles tendon...I was child for pete's sake, no kids should be watching that)
-but the one that affected me the most was the flogging/torture scenes of Passion of the Christ (I'll never get over that movie)

The Toxic Avenger when they run over the kid on a bicycle. Very twisted thing to see, especially when I was young!

Zodiac - where the guy ties up the couple on the lakefront, then shows them a loaded gun... then stabs them to death. The face of that girl when she realizes what happens is horrifying...

The Shining - pretty much all of it.

Noe is an intriguing filmmaker and while I'm usually up for anything in a movie as long as it's important to the story, I wont' watch this movie because of that scene. I've heard the movie is quite good, but I feel like my life is better having not watched that.

Maybe those disgusting Ohio State Highway Patrol and California State Highway Patrol films they used to make for high school drivers ed. classes. They're referred to as the "Red Asphault" series as they were trying to scare the hell out of teens into driving carefully.

That one stuck out in my mind as well, as a kid. The way that kid's head got smashed, while wearing a helmet, was pretty disgusting.

The Exorcist, green barfing scene. The scene's been spoofed many time since and thus lost alot of it's horrer effect.

The movie "Audrey Rose". It creeped me the hell out when I saw it as a kid. Rent it if you haven't seen it.

The opening scene in the movie "Lean on Me" where "Welcome to the Jungle" is playing over a violent gang fight scene where this kid is getting his head bashed into the floor repeatedly and there's blood everywhere and his legs start twitching. Pretty awsome when I watch it now, but it stuck with me when I first saw it.

The scene in Robocop where they kill the human cop (pre-Robocop suit) and the last guy steps on his arm and blasts it with shotgun from point blank range. That was gross.

The end of Descent, with Rosario Dawson. I normally have a high tolerance for "disturbing" stuff, but that rape scene at the end left a pit in my stomach.

The scene in The Accused with Jodie Foster was hard for me to stomach.
