Dragic or Felton would be both the most realistic and best players all at once at this point for the point guard spot.

Ersan Ilyasova would be ideal for us at the 3. Novak would sure help in spreading the court.

I would love to pick up 2 of these 4 guys.

Josh Smith for Pau, and a resigning of Hill....

We can get either Novak or Felton for the MMLE. Take your pick. The other two are not happening.

Wolves decline to make offers for Beasley, Randolph
Posted Jun 30 2012 8:54PM

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -- The Minnesota Timberwolves have declined to make qualifying offers to forwards Michael Beasley and Anthony Randolph, making them both unrestricted free agents.

The Timberwolves announced the expected moves Saturday. They also extended the deadlines they had to reach buyout agreements with veterans Martell Webster and Brad Miller to allow them more time to try to work out trades involving both players.

Beasley averaged a career-low 11.2 points per game last season while battling numerous injuries. The $8.1 million qualifying offer for the former No. 2 overall draft choice caused the Wolves to move on.

Randolph averaged 7.4 points and 3.6 rebounds in sporadic playing time last season. He could return to the team if he signs for less than his $4 million qualifying offer.

Sigh...we get to watch on the sidelines while Mitch uses the MMLE on Jonathan Bender or Javaris Crittendon.

Especially because we haven't heard anything at all about what the Lakers are planning to do with their mini-MLE. All the talk up to this point has been about Pau. So at least Jim/Mitch have been able to keep that under wraps - always a good sign with them, considering that their best moves have come out of left field.

Anyone expecting some name player to sign with us is in denial. We will end up with whoever the next white stiff is.

TPE could land a very solid player for us or split up for a couple role players depending on if teams want to unload for space or want the TPE for their own trade schemes.

I'll be very surprised to see any teams take on Pau's contract other than perhaps Minnie or Houston. I don't buy the ATL talks about Smith for Gasol. How are they going to build a roster with Johnson and Gasol's contracts eating up most of their cap space? I wouldn't be at all surprised to see Bynum moved in a package that no one has heard a peep about.

WTF. Deron, joe johnson, wallace, humphries, and lopez isn't winning anything. Lets get involved with the talks and offer gasol to ATL
which will send J Smoove, jenkins, and zaza(expiring) to nets,
and dwill to lakers.

Reports of Nets and Atlanta doing a trade for Joe. Probably a move for Atlanta to clear space for Gasol.

ATL about to dump Johnson to make room for Pau?
