12 rounds, 22 teams, that is 264 players chosen.

This is going to take forever.

I have my draft strategy set up. I'm going to treat this like the NFL draft. If nothing interests me at my spot, I'll trade down, or if I want to grab someone before someone else does, I'll trade up.

Is there a way to access a player database by position rather than by team on their site? For those who've done this before, what site(s) do people use to assess historical player stats, etc?

You can't really do that on whatifsports.com without having a premium membership, which costs $10. IMO, the best/easiest to use place is www.basketball-reference.com, when it comes to historical stats. They also have a player rater that's voted on by fans that might be useful as a reference. (although there's a bizarre anti-Kobe campaign by some folks, who "down vote" him because they hate him. Last I saw he was the 277th ranked player in history. ...but outside of him it's a decent guidelines for prevailing opinion)

Linda...do you know how to unlock this forum, or does that have to be Ex, LC, or DB? Mods are the only ones who can post in it right now.

LOL they have Kobe ranked at 399...out of 552. Jeeze, fans are crazy

With the #2 Pick in the 2013 All-Time League Draft, LakerSanity selects Kareem Abdul-Jabbar of the University of California - Los Angeles.

#4 is still available if anyone is interested. I'll actually be gone for a few hours until mid-day, so I apologize in advance if I hold things up a bit.

The 2 players I would have traded up for are gone. It's not worth it for anyone else, unless you want to trade #20 for #4 straight up

I'm not doing too bad considering anyone I get at #5 will be pretty darn good.

It is that #43 pick that will be interesting.
