When our pick drops out of the top 5 in the 2015 Draft. Who will the Phoenix Suns select with our pick?
The list is courtesy of Draft Express... the bottom 6-13 lotterydraft picks.

6. Justise Winslow

2014 Nike Hoop Summit: USA Measurements
April 12, 2014
Justise Winslow
Weight: 221 lbs.
Height (w/ shoes): 6'6"
Wingspan: 6'10"
Standing Reach: 8'7”

Strengths:
-Chiseled frame
-Extremely athletic
-Consummate role-player. Terrific teammate
-Plays under control
-Intelligent passer
-Incredible competitor. Gives maximum effort on every play seemingly
-Defends every position on the floor. Great instincts for blocking shots
-Excellent rebounder on both ends of the floor
-Extremely serious. Very business-like attitude. Never changes his face. Not affected by the ups and downs of the game
-Shows some ability to create off the dribble
-Can make an open 3-pointer

Weaknesses:
-Skill-level still a work in progress. A little bit mechanical offensively
-Shooting mechanics need a lot of work. Shoots ball on the way down
-Ball-handling skills are unpolished
-Too reliant on using his strength, intensity and athleticism to just bully his way offensively

Outlook: Michael Kidd-Gilchrist esqe competitor. Shows a tremendous knack for shutting down the opposing team's best player. Played an instrumental role in USA Basketball winning the U-17 World Championship. Poised player with a terrific attitude. Will have to work hard to polish his offensive skill-level to round out the rest of his game.

7. Mario Hezonja

6-6, SG/SF, Barcelona, Croatia, 1995

video link

Strengths:
-Terrific size, frame and athleticism for a wing prospect
-Can make shots from anywhere on the court, with feet set, off the dribble, and with a hand in his face
-Creates separation from defender very well and has excellent shooting mechanics
-Very good in transition
-Can beat man off the dribble in half-court with excellent first step, and then finish over the top of the defense
-Shows intriguing court vision, especially off the pick and roll. Threads needle to diving cutters with bounce passes for layups

Weaknesses:
-Looked disconnected mentally from his teammates, and from the game in general. Constantly talking to opponents. Seems to lack focus on the court
-Struggles operating within a team concept. Only really looks comfortable in isolation or pick and roll settings
-Goes too many possessions where he dribbles the ball incessantly and then settles for a contested pull-up jumper
-Needs to improve ball-handling skills in half-court. Doesn't change speeds or directions. If can't simply blow by his man, immediately pulls up off the dribble
-Struggles defensively off the ball. Shows poor awareness

Outlook: One of the top prospects in the world in his age group based on sheer talent. Has already seen minutes in the ACB and Euroleague with Barcelona's senior team. Struggled badly with his shot-selection and all-around decision making throughout the NIJT. Shot 5/39 from beyond the arc in the seven games he played, and only got to free throw line 18 times. Averaged over 5 turnovers per-40. Showed poor body language as well. Team seemed to be much better off when he was on the bench. No one doubts his talent, but more and more doubts are creeping in as to whether his poor mentality will prevent him from reaching his tremendous potential.

8. Stanley Johnson

2014 Nike Hoop Summit: USA Measurements
April 12, 2014
Stanley Johnson
Weight: 237 lbs.
Height (w/shoes): 6'7"
Wingspan: 6'11"
Standing Reach: 8'7.5”

video link

Strengths:
-Very good size for a wing at 6-7 ½ in shoes. Good wingspan (6-10 1/2)
-Outstanding frame—absolutely chiseled at 226 pounds
-Terrific athlete. Strong, explosive, a highlight reel waiting to happen
-Very physical defender. Takes great pride in his work on this end of the court. Has the versatility to guard multiple positions, Defends all five positions at the high school level. Should be able to defend at least three in college (2-4) and possibly beyond
-Does a great job getting to the passing lanes
-Tremendous rebounder for his position, on both ends of the floor. Averaged over 14 rebounds per-40 at the Nike EYBL. Same story in every other setting he's played in
-Extremely aggressive in the open floor. Puts pressure on the defense. Takes the ball strong to the basket. Relishes contact inside the paint
-Solid ball-handler. Has a strong and quick first step. Can overpower defenders knifing through the lane
-Finishes with power
-Can post up a bit. Has the size, strength and desire to impose his will on opponents inside the paint
-Not a non-shooter. Can make an outside shot with his feet set, or sometimes even off the dribble
-Highly competitive player. Plays with emotion. Doesn't take plays off. A winner. Plays for the team. Sets the tone for his teammates with his intensity, swagger and toughness
-Makes extra pass. Not a selfish player. Finds the open man with solid vision

Weaknesses:
-Average perimeter shooter at best. Hit 31/104 (29%) 3-point attempts in 23 EYBL games this season. Made 31% last season
-Doesn't have the most fluid release on his shot. Short arms many of his attempts
-Shot-selection is not great. Settles for too many guarded attempts. Takes far more 3-pointers than he should considering how much more effective of a driver he is.
-Ball-handling skills are improvable in the half-court. Struggles to get all the way to the rim in the half-court at times if he can't simply blow by his opponent
-Fairly turnover prone. Averaged 4.2 turnovers per-40 in the EYBL.

Outlook: A college coach's dream. Has the body and athleticism of a NBA player, and his improved his skill-level and versatility substantially. Can do a little bit of everything on the floor. Has terrific intangibles on top of that. Competitor who wants to win and is willing to do what it takes to do so.

9. Kelly Oubre

2014 Nike Hoop Summit: USA Measurements
April 12, 2014
Kelly Oubre
Weight: 204 lbs.
Height (w/shoes): 6'6.5"
Wingspan: 7'2"
Standing Reach: 8'8”

video link

Strengths:
-Good size for a wing at 6-7 to go along with a very strong frame
-Very good athlete. Powerful. Quick off feet. Can play above the rim
-Effective scorer inside the arc. Can attack the basket and create high percentage opportunities. Finishes well around the basket
-Gets to the free throw line frequently
-Very good in transition
-Nice scoring instincts. Can make outside shots even if he isn't consistent yet
-Solid passer
-Solid rebounder
-Has the potential to be a good defender if he wants to thanks to his size, length, strength and athleticism

Weaknesses:
-Awkward lefty stroke. Flings the ball at the basket, doesn't get much arc
-Not a consistent shooter. Made just 31% of his 3-point attempts at the Nike EYBL on over five attempts per game
-Shot-selection can be poor. Doesn't know his limitation. Forces the issue regularly
-Needs to improve his off hand. Only wants to drive and finish with left
-Average defender at best. Rarely gets in a stance. Fundamentals are poor

Outlook: Physically imposing small forward with very good scoring instincts. Has seen his stock rise dramatically over the past year. Needs to improve his outside shot to take his game to the next level.

11. D'Angelo Russell

video link

Strengths:
-Good physical attributes. Solid height. Good frame. Long arms. Big hands
-Incredibly smooth. Has some unexpected explosiveness he can unleash when needed
-Talented ball-handler. Operates at different speeds.
-Gifted scorer. Not polished, but can throw the ball in the basket in impressive fashion and in a variety of ways
-Floaters in the lane. Makes tough shots off the dribble
-Good feel for the game. Makes the extra pass. Passes ahead in transition. Can find teammates creatively
-Needs to improve ball-handling.
-Fills up the stat sheet with points, assists, rebounds and steals
-Has the potential to be a good defender if he wants to

Weaknesses
-Doesn't know how to use his talent in a consistent fashion. Plays in spurts. Tends to disappear at times
-Average ball-handler in the half-court. Rarely gets all the way to the basket. Doesn't get to the free throw line at a very high rate. Getting stronger will help as he doesn't do a great job finishing through contact
-Inconsistent outside shooter. Has awkward shooting mechanics like many lefties, but main culprit is his poor shot-selection. Made 28% of his 3-point attempts in 19 Nike EYBL games
-Loves to settle for bad shots off the dribble. Takes too many long two-pointers
-Needs to improve his catch and shoot jump-shot
-Takes plays off on defense

Outlook: Talented lefty scorer who can put points on the board with amazing ease. Shows an extra gear he can get to off the dribble that isn't readily apparent on first glance. Game comes very naturally for him, but goes through prolonged stretches of inefficiency. Will benefit from being pushed by Ohio State's coaching staff.

12. Myles Turner

2014 Nike Hoop Summit: USA Measurements
April 12, 2014
Myles Turner
Weight: 242 lbs.
Height (w/shoes): 6'11.5"
Wingspan: 7'3.75"
Standing Reach: 9'1.5”

video link

Strengths
-Excellent size, frame and length for a center.
-Great instincts as a shot blocker. Rotates well. Alters shots. Very good timing.
-Good offensive rebounder.
-Very good shooting touch. Capable out to 3-point range. Comfortable in mid-range spots.
-Upside offensively. Can get to a turnaround jumper comfortably. Fundamentally sound rip-through from 17 feet. Pretty good touch on right handed jump hook.
-High IQ. Good passer. Knows where to be on the defensive end.
-Good hands.
-Plays with great effort. Works hard on the glass.

Weaknesses
-Lacks mobility. Struggles getting up and down with fluidity. Runs awkwardly.
-Huge feet slow him down. Has issues hedging and recovering.
-Average body.
-Lacks explosiveness. Not an above the rim guy.
-Not comfortable turning over his right shoulder.
-Lacks go-to moves on the block. Doesn't get deep position.
-Foul prone.

Outlook Turner has an intriguing blend of shooting ability, basketball IQ, shot blocking instincts and rebounding ability for a near-7-footer. The Texas-bound big man does some nice things on the floor that should translate well to the next level. Turner's potential is a bit limited by his lack of mobility and explosiveness, however. He's not exactly great in one area and although he certainly has some NBA-level skills and tools, he struggles to get off the ground quickly, keep quicker bigs in front and hedge and recover in the pick and roll. Turner figures to face questions about his long-term durability due to his abnormally large feet and awkward running style. Turner certainly has the tools to contribute at Texas and eventually parlay that into a potential lottery selection in the 2015 draft. But because of Turner's lack of athleticism along with questions about his long-term durability, he doesn't quite have the star potential people may have envisioned in the past.

13. Caris LeVert

video link

NBA Comparison: Jamal Crawford/Jeremy Lamb

Strengths: LeVert has one of the most interesting and versatile skill sets among this year's draft class ... His length for the position is obvious, standing at 6’7 with long arms ... Uses his length to make plays for others by reading the floor over his defender ... Has an excellent first step and moves well laterally ... All of these aspects could lead to being a top defender with some polish ... At his best in transition where he’s extraordinarily efficient and has no problem setting up teammates or finishing himself, an excellent spot up shooter from beyond the arc shooting over 50% from both wings and corners ... Difficult to guard due to his quick release and ability to put the ball on the floor ... Very comfortable with the ball in his hands and has shown the ability to run the offense for spurts of time ... Very even keeled, shows great poise and maturity ... Showed incredible progression between his freshman and sophomore seasons and with more of the same could very well play 1-3 at the next level, exhibiting his great versatility ...

Weaknesses: LeVert does have some glaring weaknesses and the one that sticks out immediately is lack of strength ... He needs to put on weight so he can’t be bullied by bigger opponents and to improve his finishing at the rim ... Because of this he tends to settle for midrange jumpers where he struggles mightily, shooting under 30% between the paint and 3 pt line last season ... While he appears to show some playmaking ability he struggles in the half court to set up his teammates consistently ... Despite his athletic tools he’s an inconsistent defender due to technique, a tendency to jump passing lanes and his aforementioned lack of strength …

Overall: Levert became an intriguing prospect after his breakout sophomore season ... He has a variety of skills that will keep GM’s eyes on him ... However, this will be a make or break season for him the same way it was for former teammate Glen Robinson III ... Without Robinson and Nik Stauskas, LeVert will have to show he’s capable of being the man at Michigan while keeping them successful ... The upside is there for him to be a lottery pick with another high level season ...

I don't think that kelly oubre will declare this season, or at least he shouldn't. The top 3 prospects in this draft should be Okafor, mudiay, and towns and I believe Stanley Johnson and justice Winslow will round out the top 5...or at least they should.

I like your breakdown in Russell. I didn't know much about him at the time but he's the guy the lasers should take if they have the chance.
