If we do get Ball what stars do you guys expect him to put up?
12/6/6 as a rookie. I think his impact is gonna be on DLO. When he moved Bryce Alford to SG from PG he turn Bryce from a bad PG to a good SG. DLo can be an allstar with a guy getting him the ball.
can you imagine BI cutting to the basket but actually getting the ball this time? Or Nance running the floor and having lobs waiting for him? Or another player on the floor that's actually capable of setting DLO up?
Holy (bleep) I'm excited
Yeah man i cant wait. Im hoping he makes everybody better and the team more fun to watch like he did at UCLA. All the young guys can pass so i think theyre all going to be sharing it and making the game fun. I think I know who Luke wants to draft.

First off can he fix that J. Should he fix it? Anyone know of another player with a bad J early on that was able to fix it.
All aboard here .
No need to fix it when it's not broke.
Lonzo will put up 12, 8 and 5 and everyone will be better except Deng.
TBH Deng shot like 37% from 3 with the starters. You could argue Lonzo spoonfeeding him shots in rhythm is the best thing that could happen to Deng.
I'm surprised it's very respectable. He was clanking every important shots that I want him to make. He is still expendable, Nance will get that role and with better help defense to boot.
Ball is getting more hyped then a lot of players in recent years, everyone is gonna call him a bust especially in the media if he isn't putting up 15/5/7 in his rookie year.

This is with the starters. When he didn't stay with the starters he was God awful. His overall 3FG% was 31%? That's like Randle territory. So yeah he was not good at shooting 3s overall... there's just reason to believe with Ball spoonfeeding him he'd recover to 35% or so next season.
Good stuff, and you see Lonzo's demeanor here, he's as confident but he's just not as brash as his dad, but if you ask he'll tell you but mostly seems like he wants to do it on the court. Just how he is. Good stuff though. _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:

Stretch 4 is the only role that I can see him with this team and be able to help. It's Nance role to lose though . Next year, we can waived Deng and stretch him. We have better chance of landing relevant free agents next year. We should stay put unless a no brainier deal comes along.
Maybe too early. Ainge is kind of unpredictable in the draft.
Agree. If they don't trade #1, I can see Ainge drafting Jackson: SF with great defense, he loves it!
They already have Jaylen Brown. Same kind of player. JJ is a reach at 1. Ainge would trade down if he wants JJ. They also need to replace IT whos due for contract extension. He not a max guy and too much of a defensive liability to take them beyond where they are. I think they see Fultz as a better version of IT.

I don't think Ainge would want to draft someone who might be unhappy playing there. Ball has already professed his love of playing in LA. He would risk having Ball for like a 5-year rental. If Ainge somehow did the unthinkable, we might have a Ball/Fultz backcourt in 5 years. Us drafting Fultz and getting Ball for free in 5 years when he enters his prime. I could see it happening. _________________ Playoffs is good enough. - Jeanie Buss 2024

Best case scenario... Boston drafts Fultz.
They let IT go in FA.
Fultz flops.
Boston cries.

Charlamagne Tha God @cthagod
I hope Lonzo Ball goes to the Lakers and becomes a superstar so I can wear my Big Baller Brand slides proudly with a pedicure and no socks.

And he already has IT, so... but you're right, if he wants Jackson, trading him down to Philadelphia (who desperately needs a PG) makes sense. _________________ ....
no, it's not too early for this. He's a Laker. Draft night is merely a formality.
GT- get to work quick on a Lonzo Ball to the Lakers vid. It will get 100k views easy. Half will probably be thumbs down, he might be the most hated on player in the league

Part of his unpredictability is that he has no problem "reaching" for a player with a duplicate skill set.
