And represented by a subpar agent...at a minimum, get the max $ from OKC.

Or go to freakin Philly. OKC's future is about as bleak as their landscape.

Actually if he went to Philly to team up with there talented young core and make a difference, I would have actually understood it a lot more then going back to a team that has no future success.

I don't think the Lakers at that time will be willing to pay a max contract to a guy who will be entering the twilight of his career after a failed free agency attempt the first time around. George would have to suddenly become one of those face of the NBA type players for the Lakers to reconsider.

After a 18-3 start in Oklahoma City, Paul George says "he can see himself retiring a Thunder"

After a 7-13 midseason swoon, Paul George says "we're not moving the ball enough, I can't get to my spots" in a thinly veiled swipe at Russell Westbrook. When asked about trade possibilities, Paul says "we'll see. you never know, but we'll see"

After a 1-4 defeat at the hands of the Los Angeles Lakers in the first round of the NBA playoffs, a dejected Paul George says "you gotta give us credit, we really stepped it up and beat a really good team. we just gotta come back better next year, this is only step 2 of the process."

After two NBA championships, the Lakers begin the 2021-2022 offseason with a recently retired Lebron James, co-MVPs Brandon Ingram and Kyle Kuzma, Finals MVP Kawhi Leonard and Lonzo & Lamelo Ball finally teaming up together. With only the taxpayer mid-level exception at their disposal, the Lakers placed a call to Aaron Mintz's hologram iPhone XX but he left it on silent as they were filming "Where is Paul George going after Oklahoma City retracted from the league due to bankruptcy?" Paul George, content with a minimum salary from the newly-formed El Paso Tacos basketball club exclaims: "It's been my lifelong dream to come off the bench for an expansion team in a city that mildly resembles Palmdale, if you squint hard enough... oh, and by the way, tell the Lakers I'm coming" *wink

I just wrote the next 4 years of Paul George content for you aggregators out there.

Exactly. Now it’s time for him to accept and move on.

He has moved on. He signed a long term deal. He’s supposed to say that down the road he’d NEVER consider it?

He just seems to be talking a lot about the Lakers. Imo, if he was really over it; he would not have said "LA was pissed" that he did not take a meeting.

He needs to move on tbh. Yes, Lakers fans on social media take shots at PG13 but most of what I have seen is it's provoked by something the dude says.

If he is happy in OKC, so be it. Act like it.

I think it’s more like he is asked about LA a lot. No need for bitterness. We did well this summer.

We did do well this summer. Personally, I am not bitter. I know some are based on their comments. However, I think that's a small group.

All players are asked (a lot of the time to stir the pot); if he was convinced/over it, he would answer differently imo...but we can disagree on that. It's all good.

He is asked about LA, precisely because he was the 1 who opened his mouth about coming here.

I wanted to go back home and play for the Lakers. That was the initial plan. Pacers didn’t want to do that. Lakers didn’t want to give up anything to grab me. So that was a salty taste, to be vulnerable like, ‘Hey, I want to come home.’

He was salty that Lakers didn't trade for him!

It’s more easier to forgive when that person still hasn’t played for you’re team as opposed to him coming here and not meeting expectations which is what Howard did that caused fans to crap on him, I think if he did come here in the next couple of years, fans will sing a different tune.

Seriously. GTFO Paul "Catfished" George. You chose to play college ball in Fresneck, go make a lateral move to Sacramento--the Oklahoma City of California. You grew up in Palmdale. The Sacramento of L.A. suburbs. You have no home in L.A. proper. GTFO with this BS. You made your choice.
