We will post more details as we get them, but Hyrum, to those lucky enough to know him, was a sweet, tortured, brilliant, beautiful soul who suffered far more than anyone has a right to, and was a blessing to those whose path he crossed.

His avatar picture is Hyrum as I remember him from our conversations, jaded, introspective, thoughtful, and effortlessly cool as (bleep).

Rest easy friend. I wish I had been there more often for you.

Damn it. I was close with Hyrum. I don't know how he passed. I know he battled with mental illness. He just wrote a book of poems. I didn't read it yet. Here's a link to Amazon for those that are interested. Rest in peace my friend.

Hyrum sent me a copy of that. Dark, beautiful stuff. He put out another book or two of petry and recently, a novelette. He was working hard at staying alive. So sad for him to lose the battle.

Very sad that he is gone and wish him peace.

This sucks. I'm very sorry.

Didn't know the man but my condolences to his family and sorry to see him go.

Its always sad to see anyone pass, especially a Lakers fan.

Bye.

It is sad. We communicated through PM here on LG. We bonded because I also have a mental illness. I can relate to the struggles and challenges so this kind of thing hits me hard.

This one hurts. Hyrum was an incredible person fighting some incredibly tough battles. When I was just a sad college student struggling to figure out my life, I sent messages to a user I only knew as "Lowest Merion." I didn't expect much of a response. I was wrong, pleasantly so -- I imagine that's true for anybody whose company Hyrum graced.

I don't think I would be where I am today without him. I miss you, friend. While I worry for his beautiful children, who will grow up without this wonderful man as a father, I am overjoyed that they can live with his written thoughts and sentiments.

I'll be thinking about this one for some time. I miss you. Rest easy.

I didn't get to know of him but I am happy to see he was able to share some of his spirit with some awesome company above me

But I'm also in tears because I've been there. And reaching out when you don't feel like bothering someone, like you feel like you'd be just a problem so you don't ask for help

I'm sorry you had to leave.

Damn song

In the arms of the angel
Fly away from here
From this dark, cold hotel room
And the endlessness that you fear
You are pulled from the wreckage
Of your silent reverie
You're in the arms of the angel
May you find some comfort here

Thank you Staff, for making the decision to share this with us all. It may help someone who has felt the darkness

Bless Everyone

Yep, Hyrum was a beautiful soul and sweetheart of a guy. This one hits hard and I'm gonna miss him.

The hard part is when you reach the point where you don't even recognize you need help. All you see is the suffering that you can't see yourself getting through. Like a rogue wave.
