Yeah, he dont turn 19 until Thanksgiving. He is 6-4 235, with a 7-2 wing span! Remember how excited everyone got about Bi being 6-9 with a 7-3 wing span? But this kid is 6-4 and 235. Basically built like Charles Barkley, Isiah rider, Anthony peeler, or that other player who's name I forgot that played for th lakers that was a fan favorite. He is a power guard...at 18...if dude develops a jumper man, we could really have something..

The one part of the FO that consistently does well, the scouting department. I hope this is another hit. Definitely a high upside pick on physical profile and age alone.

Yes. Also, KIROE's choice.

Zero impact, either way. He'll get signed to a min contract, and min contracts are already automatically deducted from our cap hit

not a fan of this. We needed someone who could realistically contribute to the rotation and help push this 3 year championship window, not another deep project.
But welcome and best of luck!

At 46? It's a crapshoot no matter who you take, even if it's a 4 year graduate. I like potential because all my potentials have been whacked by the Pelinka mafia the past few years.

He seems like an old school player. I'm kinda digging his stroke. Seems solid defensively. Not afraid to get into the paint, and only 18 is nice.

Some Synergy stats on Talen Horton-Tucker:

- 97th percentile (1.409 PPP) on passes out of the pick and roll

- 86th percentile on attacking the basket out of high pick and rolls

- 69th percentile on catch-and-shoot attempts

Jacob Rude @JacobRude
Defensively.....

- 90th percentile on defending jumpers off the dribble

- 94th percentile when defending the ball handler in pick and rolls

- 100th (!) percentile on defending off-screen actions. On just 13 possessions, he allowed TWO points, 0.154 PPP.

Yes, I am not a fan. Hope THT makes me eat an amount of crow equivalent to a trip to Fogo de Chao's.

Nice wingspan. Gonna be a good defender with plenty of upside. He can still grow an inch, can't he?
