The sixth man and the runner up. That is great off season right there. Hopefully Rob has some more tricks up his sleeve

I wonder how much this was a (bleep) you to Ballmer and Kawhi by Pelinka and Klutch.

The Clippers seem shocked that Harrell signed with the Lakers.

Didn't have him on my radar at all and surprised at Dwight leaving for vet minimum elsewhere.

That said, I trust in Rob as he knows what he is doing and I am just a brilliant poster on a Lakers website.

The value on this signing is crazy good - clearly we are trying to preserve cap flex with the 2 years. At this price, damn - trez isn’t perfect but you can move this contract easy

In all honesty "got destroyed by Jokic" should be a mark of honor because it'll happen to the best of them.

Plus we won’t use him for Jokic. That’s what Anthony Davis and another potential bigman we get is for.

Harrell is a matchup nightmare for most teams that don’t have that guy like Jokic....which is the majority of teams in the league. Harrell is a nightmare against teams like the Rockets, Clippers (ha!), Celtics, Heat, etc.

I am in total shock. I did not expect this out of left field signing. Rob Pelinka has been a total genius so far. I love it.

26 year old BEAST who never gives up on every possession.

Sure Trezz wasn’t the best at guarding big centers like Jokic, Embiid ext. in the past but now he has Lebron and AD to help him.

Plus whoever followed Trezz and the Clippers last season knows he clearly wasn’t the same player after his Grandmother passed away and Kawhi and PG’s so called “Leadership” continued to be completely nonexistent.

His best friend on the team Lou was fed up with all the BS as well.
Trezz will do great here!!!!!

Let’s gooooooo 🏀🔥🏀💪🏀🔥🏀💪🏀🔥💪

It felt like Lou and Montrezl were on strike in the playoffs. Especially Lou. They were sooooo bad.

This guy is going to flourish in this grinding culture, as oppose to that mercenary culture across town. And we got him on the cheap.

Schroder cares about defense unlike Lou. Trezz is all about the effort too. Doc put him in a tough position to guard Jokic so much. That's like putting some 6"4 SG on Bron. Vogel won't do such BS. We will have AD and another big guarding the likes of Jokic and Embiid. I feel Noel could come for the minimum due to Klutch connection. He needs to play for a contender to rebuild his value.

Never liked this guy...

Because he always killed the Lakers,

But I like him a whole lot now..

I just wish Duc Rivers was still here cause this is a knife and a twist to the Clippers Championships hopes!

And the Lakers now have the top two 6th men from last season, is that right?

You mean in the next 30 days?

I doubt it, but he is a good rebounder, and hard to stop around the basket.

I cant believe ppl dont like this signing.

We got him for cheap. He can easily get much more on the market. Since he is on a great contract and a good player he can be a trade piece for something bigger.

I felt that Javele and Dwight had similar skills so Harrell will provide a different skill set for our opponents to gameplan

Very low risk, high reward move

Harrell is overrated and does not strike me as a winning player. He will cause problems if he doesn't get minutes and make our defense weaker. Klutch L.A. is what it seems like. Probably going to over pay kcp too again.

With Harrell and Shroeder, both around 26, 27 years of age, all of a sudden the Lakers got some decent young players.

Didn’t take long for Lebron to warm up to Harrell

Clippers locker room culture must have changed where he decided to come across the hall to play for a discount.

Dwight is a much stronger post defender than JaVale. Dwight gave Jokic problems defensively and JaVale offered little resistance when Jokic would go to work on him in the post. Unless the Lakers plan to guard Jokic and other big centers with AD they need another big man.

Spending the MLE on a guy that we won’t play in the final lineup is a waste. Very disappointed signing

Wow. Montrezl Harrell two year $19M is a steal! Definitely didn’t see this coming. Best part is Clippers probably didn’t see it coming either.

So far Pelinka is doing a great job. A+

Schroder = upgrade + youth
Harrell = upgrade + youth
Matthew = even + money savings

Feels so good to have someone competent pulling the trigger now. I can finally move on from the Mozgov & Deng trauma.
