Man, if we end up not winning a championship this year, I’ll regret having given up Ingram for AD when we could have just waited a year and had both.

Only thing that annoys me is some commentators making it seem like it was the trade that opened up his game. Namely Chuck..

Ingram had always trended in the right direction, every season.

1st all-star game and MIP all @ age 22. Still feels like he should be a Laker, but I understand we wouldn't have AD without him. I know he came into the NBA at age 19, but it's been an uphill battle for him every year. First with the Lakers mismanaging his role on the team. Then all the Lebron hoopla and trade rumors. Then finally the life threatening blood clot which could have ended his NBA career. He didn't have an offseason to train and still made the all-star game.

I wish him the best. Watching him play in the bubble, he obviously has a few kinks in his game that need to be addressed immediately. His play dipped significantly in the bubble, but I think some of that was the run&gun style of the team, adjusting to Zion, and abysmal team defense. He deserves a coach that will utilize him more in the post and not turn him into a spot up shooter (even though he was a legit 3pt threat this year). The pelicans were tough to watch because they literally tried to be the Phoenix Suns without the personnel that made the Suns so successful (Nash, Amare, etc).

I just saw the video of his family and Lonzo telling him (and some other lady the tweet didn’t say who she was) too cute!

Congrats BI!

Good for him. He was drafted so young, but it was obvious he was a baller.

Hope he is smart with his money and he can set generations of his family now.

Perennial all star incoming. When it's all said and done, I think he'll have a more successful career than Tatum.

They’re close numbers wise but Tatum is still only 19 years old

The Tatum hype has become borderline unreal with Boston having a player on his own team that is already outplaying him this year. BI surpassed Tatum last year; this year, comparing Tatum to BI is borderline insulting to Ingram's improvement since Tatum is largely one dimensional.

It’s a running (well, played out) joke about Tatum always being a 19 year old phenom.

Where does Jaylen Brown rank among the trio? 28.0 ppg this year. If he keeps it up then maybe it was actually him that should have gone #1 in 2016, not Simmons or Ingram. Simmons is increasingly looking like he should have gone third or even fourth (behind Jamal Murray as well). I’d probably still put him above Siakam given age.
