One of the better wins this season when you consider how much bad luck we've had this year, lately with Drummond missing the game due to his missing toenail and contusion.

The standings are really tight now, and we needed this.

The Kings have played well lately, with a high ranked offense but the Lakers shut them down. Lakers turned the ball over a lot, and still shut down their key players.

With all that happened. A win vs the flippers will put the Lakers in the 3rd spot

I'd love to see Gasol (C) and Trezz (PF) run on the 2nd unit together.

Gasol doesn't look for his own shot and is an excellent passer, which would help Montrezl out so much since our 2nd unit is...well, terrible at ball handling.

Glad to see KCP have a good game. He finished with a double-double (13 points, 10 rebounds); he also added 3 assists and solid defense.

One advantage we may have is the fact that they usually play very poorly on those early start games., both last season and this season.

I think if they play defense like what they did tonight they have a chance to win, and if you add to that a hot shooting, they will definitely can win that game.

Lakers win 115-94.

Shot an insane 17-33 from 3. Outrebounded Sac 54-38.

Solid games from several players, Morris, Shro, KCP, THT...and heck Gasol was a +20.

Game ball goes to Kuz, dropped a 30 on the Kings on a night where he showed off an assorted arsenal. He hit the 3. Running jumpers, blew by guys for layups. Did euro step moves in the paint for layups, etc.

Nice solid W. Lakers right now can compete with the .500 and below teams quite well.

The challenge will be the healthy title contenders, such as the Clips. I'm not expecting much on Sunday, so this W was critical.

I'm expecting us to play hard and compete vs the Clips. We have a fighting chance. The Lakers just have to execute, make shots and play intense defense.
We can do this, GO LA!! .

Vogel already said he will try it. In offense Gasol, stretch 4 and Harrell Center; in defense, Harrell at PF and Gasol at Center.

Good 21 point win. Team needed this.

Sacramento is not a good defensive team but they have been playing well. Good confidence boost without LBJ and AD.

Marc Gasol, asked by @DanWoikeSports if he still wants to be here

"Things can change quickly in the NBA... But I'm committed to this team. It's a hard pill to swallow because I know I'm going to be out of the lineup at some point, but it's never easy for the player... We'll see"

More from Gasol, on his role change.

"It's not easy. But that's life, you have to adapt. Either you take it as a challenge or you move on."

https://twitter.com/hmfaigen/status/1378206547038203905?s=21

It was actually a great presser. He was very professional and he’s there to do his job and he understands that he is his job is to do whatever the Lakers need him to do. That said it was pretty clear that he also isn’t happy and this is a lot for him to take in right now. He is always super honest and thoughtful in his pressers .

Marc lacks several things that we have been needed desperately this year, but I will never say that he isn't a consummate professional. Maybe a knock down the rotation was what he needed to put his best foot forward, which he definitely did tonight.

Plus, Vogel has said that he's going to use a lineup with both he and Trez, so I can't imagine his minutes will take a massive nosedive.

The clippers are pathetic. AD has missed the whole damn season and Lebron has been out forever and they are STILL basically tied with us in the standings.
