Regular season Dennis.

Playoffs...I’m holding my breath that it’s still Dennis.

Rondo at 7.5 million for the short term... or Schroder at 21 million for the long term?

Rondo was putting up horrific numbers for the season and now he's already surpassed Schroder's efficiency.

The main debate is health, but everyone's getting hurt anyway.

For all we know, Rondo and a lot of these vets are just acting hurt so they can rest for the playoffs. Maybe AD and LBJ are already fairly healthy but just playing it safe.

If we somehow could trade Schroder for Rondo, would you all really fear the Clippers with Schroder?

I personally fear Rondo more than Dennis in that scenario.

We'll soon see what happens.

Not really a fair question because of Rondo's age.

All else equal you'd probably want DS because of the high usage value he's providing with all the injuries.

If the question were just for the playoffs, then Rondo. Go back and watch those playoff games against Houston and Denver.

Unfair to who?

At 35 Rondo is shooting better from 3 and overall from the field better than Dennis. People talk about Schroder's penetration but old Rondo is finishing at the rim better than him. (as he has for his entire career)

If Rondo doesn't break his fingers or thumb again, he should be a big problem for anyone in the playoffs.

... And assuming both stars are injured and our point guard miss also a chunk of games and have to be hidden on defense, we will be middle of the pack in defense and competing with the Dubs in the play-in.

Yeah, the overrating of Rondo is astounding by some here.. He balled out of his mind and i'll forever remember him as being a huge reason we won the Championship but he was also at best mediocre for 90% of the regular season with AD and Bron most of that time when he was healthy...

This season Schroder has had to become the #1 option much of the nights while also being the main facilitator and defensive disruptor while Rondo gets to play low minutes as the 4-5 option off the bench for the Clippers.. No comparison in the slightest at this point in there career's. As much as people love to jump on Dennis here we'd be an absolute wreck and probably free falling right now if not for him while Lebron and AD missed so many games this season.

The Playoff's is another story and only time will tell but as far as the regular season goes it's Dennis by a massive land slide.

Schroeder this regular season has been far better than Rondo was last regular season.

But I care about playoffs sooooooooooooooooo much more than regular season. So I'm gonna save my vote till I see us in the playoffs.

Rondo is a better passer, better leader and a smarter player.

Schroder is a better scorer, (much) better defender and he's much younger and quicker.

Rondo also only plays well once every few games in the regular season, and even in the playoffs he can only play 20-25 mins/game because he's old.

I'd go with Schroder, although I'll always be grateful for what Rondo gave us in last year's playoffs.

Playoff Rondo most definitely for contending team. If it was prime Rondo, it’s not even close. Schroder is not on that level but I’m hoping he’s gonna be our Rondo this playoff.

I think we squeezed the last Playoff Rondo out of the toothpaste tube. He’s been hurt a bunch this year.

We need a starting PG that can play more than 18 minutes a game.

Gotta be smoking crack to think we're winning all these games with Rondo.

He has not looked good this year.

We'll see. People doubted him last regular season too.
But his name ain't regular season Rondo.

Neither.

Rondo was okay, but he had his limits as a player. He has high IQ, but has limited scoring ability. His best attribute was his being a coach on the floor sort of player. Also, if he truly wanted to be a Laker, he would be. He left us high and dry, so F him.

DS I simply don't like. Personally. I think he plays hard. I don't think his offense is consistent. He's a good defender. I think with Lebron and Davis on the floor, he'll be much better. But there's something about his attitude I don't like. He doesn't seem like he respects being a Laker, and that really bothers me. I want Laker that want to BE Lakers.

There will be better options available come offseason.
