If Mitchell is not playing the Lakers have to win at least 1, and honestly both at home.

You are underestimating the Jazz and there very nice depth

They have guys who can go off for 20+ points, Clarkson and Ingles and Bojan in particular...

It’s gonna be tough even without Mitchell

I’m not underestimating them. Their main star is out.

We have depth. They have depth. No excuses for anything less than 1-1.

It will be nice if Kuzma finds his groove I feel like he’s key in the Jazz mini series.

The key in the Jazz mini series is to not lose by more than 30.

Same. I was expecting the lakers to win at least one of the two games if Utah was fully healthy. Since Mitchell is out for both games, a sweep should be the goal.

I love the confidence. Just don’t see it happening.

It would be miraculous to somehow earn a split with Utah.

Mitchell being out hurts them but they are a much more balanced team then the Lakers. They run a system and have players that can fill the void much better then the Lakers have put together.

I’ll be hoping for a miracle as I watch though!

A split with Dallas seems more attainable. Even that could be an issue if they start dropping 3s at a high percentage. We will see, that is why they play the games.

Lakers only have 3 players out? Wow, when did we have such fortuitous health?

Rudy Gobert, Mike Conley Jr., and Derrick Favors will sit out Jazz’s game vs. Lakers today on ESPN, sources tell ESPN. Donovan Mitchell is out with an ankle injury. Jazz are on a back-to-back after beating Pacers Friday.

Pass over whatever you're smoking. How on earth do you expect a g-league caliber team to compete with a NBA caliber team?

We will get swept, both games we will lose by 20+. Lakers suck without AD and Lebron.

That could easily change by game time.

With all the sprains, spasms, infections and lost toenails piling up, who knows who plays and is not limping around.

Having the two main stars out for such an extended time is taking its toll.

*Edit* The Woj injury report sure changes things. Interesting development

Happy to see Mitchell has no structural damage, and that LA has a chance today.
Basketball gods taking care of both teams.

The Lakers are really banged up.
The strategy now would seem to limit more injuries.
Stay in playoff spot as goal. Not much to gain by moving up one or two.
Only top or second gets the easier teams.
Get everyone healthy for playoffs.

If you can’t win this one...

They also had to expend a lot of energy coming back from 17 down against the Pacers.

We'll see if Drum is a late scratch.

I'm hoping Kieff gets back today.

This is suddenly a winnable and needed game.
