We need to ease him back nice and slow. Be gentle with him.

Bron and AD have chemistry.
The question is will the team have enough time.

The Lakers once again, will need to hang their hat on their D. They just do not have enough time to develop elite offense execution. Although, come playoffs, anyway, it is Lebron running the show and managing the game most of the time anyway.

I am happy AD is back soon, but I am also cautious. The real question is what AD and Bron will we see by playoffs. First round is likely either without HCA against Nuggets or Clippers. Tough 1st round.

Agreed. The key ones are:
AD2/AD lineups with one or both of Lebron/DS - very, very important, AD2's entire value prop depends on this.
Trez/Gasol lineups - The fact it hasn't been played leads me to believe that it won't be used in the playoffs. Which seems quite odd given what we know of teams like Utah.

I expect Davis back vs. Dallas Thursday.

The smart thing to do would be to bring him off the bench and let him play 20 minutes.

Ease him in slow that way.

Fortunately ad knows how to play with true 5s and ad2 knows how to play with stretch 4s

True, but championship chemistry can take some time, let's just hope there are enough games to develop elite level timing/synch.

Utah would murder a trez/gasol frontcourt.

Wasn't claiming starter minutes, that's AD/AD2. This is for getting something more than 2 points out of Trezz.

Practically no team has championship chemistry this year. With the shortened season, injuries, covid protocols, etc., no team has chemistry advantages.

Anyone who wins the banner this year will, for the most part, have to figure it out as the playoffs progress.

AD, LeBron, Harden, Durant, Mitchell, Jamal Murray, and on and on, are all out. Chemistry or not, we have as good a chance to win it all as anyone, and like another poster mentioned, it looks like the champs will be those who can remain healthy.

Very true. Where I'm coming from is that I'd love for the Lakers to play so so well that they steam-roll through all opposition as quickly as possible - so the risk of further injury is minimized.

Pretty sure he will be on minutes restriction... I'll be suprised if he plays more than 25 minutes tonight.
