I would seriously ask him to try as hard as he can tomorrow. He rested for 2 months already, so if it still doesn’t get better, it probably won’t get better without surgery.

Something seems structurally wrong with his shoulder. He grabbed it again today. He's done that the past 2 years. _________________ "Every hurt is a lesson, and every lesson makes you better”
Davis on what LAL need to turn this around: "Energy and effort … we can control the hustle. It starts with our defense … we’re giving up way too many points. We have to be better on that end of the floor and that will help us get back to Laker basketball.”

The irony of him saying this...
Maybe he was talking to himself. Siakam rarely played that well

Guy won a ring, got paid and seems to have tapped out. That’s okay. You have what you have. Not everyone is built like Jordan, Kobe and Lebron. I’d give him another year here and if this is they type of BS we’re going to get from him, you need to deal him because he’s not a guy you can build a franchise around. He proved that in New Orleans. _________________ 17 time World Champions
It's like the start of this season again, when he was playing with little effort but there were a lot of games ahead. And LBJ was not there yet. Back then Marc was the scapegoat, but now that MArc is benched, AD is getting a bit more exposed....
I still believe he will help us to a B2B title, but he gotta do what he is talking about...
Coming off injury and rust, I'm not expecting him to be Playoff AD right now. Maybe not even the first round. I just need him to remain healthy. _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:

AD is so soft. Trade him this offseason while his value is high.
Would you trade him back to New Orleans for Ingram, Ball, Hart, and the #4 pick? _________________ Damian Lillard shatters Dwight Coward's championship dreams:
I was worried as soon as he said the reason why he signed a long term deal in the off season is because he's injury prone. I've never heard a player say something like that and says a lot about his mentality.
Before his injury, Anthony was asked by reporters about his subpar offensive performance, and he mentioned he's a two-way player and exerting energy on the defensive end caused his offense to be compromised. Show us Anthony, at least put in effort on one side of the ball.
Hopefully this is just him acclimating to playing more minutes after a long-ish break
I'm just tired of cringing every time the ball comes his way. I feel like you can blow on him too hard and he'll get another injury. Dude is soft mentally AND physically.
Plain and simple AD is the reason we're struggling....he's been God awful, a true liability and frankly an embarrassment. He's not going to regain his form of last year...he's too much of a wuss right now. Timid, slow, unathletic...falling all over the place....This guy needs to heal in the off season...change his body like Giannis did and maybe dominate again...because right now he's more fragile than a thin piece of crystal.

"I wanted to make sure I was coming back 100%, because it wouldn't be fair to myself, wouldn't be fair to my team," Davis said on Wednesday. "I feel great. These last games leading to the playoffs, a lot of teams aren't healthy, a lot of players aren't healthy. I'm 100%, and we've got Bron coming back as well who's going to be 100% healthy. I think we've put ourselves in a good position."
-Anthony Davis, April 22, 2021
Laker record since Anthony "100% healthy" Davis returned, 1-5 (all losses against teams with worst records than the Lakers)
