Howard and McGee were very exciting to watch with there enthusiasm, Rondo was a great leader who played a pivotal role in us capturing #17 and now he’s wearing the ugly Clippers uniform, last years team had a identity and knew what there role was, this team seems to getting worse as the season goes on, this is all on Pelinka and to some degree Vogel but overall the roster is nothing to be excited about and we are gonna need some big time changes to get back to championship level next year.

It doesn’t matter if you don’t have AD/LBJ for a long stretch like this season. Those guys were arguably MORE dependent on AD/LBJ. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals

Lakers haven’t really been all that Impressive even when AD and LeBron were fully healthy the only stretch this season that we were playing good was when we came out of the all star break and then LeBron got injured.

Except you were horny as hell for all the rumors and possible trades all off-season. Lol

Number 1-2 team in the league
Best team in the league defensively
When healthy.
Healthy is what matters more than anything else. All that other stuff is irrelevant. _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:

That’s just the fanism in me, anyways let’s see if this current roster proves us wrong when the playoffs start.
Rondo, Green and Howard were all pieces of our championship team last year and played for peanuts. Now Pelinka bought in all these supposed max players who aren't much better. I know I'm not supposed to say this until we've officially been eliminated from the playoffs but if it ain't broke, don't effing fix it.
Why the f would you ever try to improve on a defending champion? They've just won a championship. Let them do it again. It's not like those players were leaving elsewhere looking for a bigger payday. They wanted to stay for a repeat! Hello? Rob? GDI!! _________________ Playoffs is good enough. - Jeanie Buss 2024

How would the Lakers look this year if it was Dwight McGee and Rondo, and LeBron, Rondo and AD missing extended periods of time at the same time?

It’s gonna take a complete 360 turnaround for us to repeat this season, like you mentioned those guys enjoyed playing here, let’s see if things change when the playoffs start.

Guarantee you we'd be looking a lot worse than we do now.
AD got hurt because we overworked him defensively due to a lack of a 2nd rim protector. _________________ Playoffs is good enough. - Jeanie Buss 2024

AD got hurt because AD got hurt, not because he was being overworked. We were bringing him along slowly anyway and everyone had something to say about him not giving "full effort" at the start of the season. Then he got hurt in the midst of "doing nothing".
He wasn't "thibs'd" in the slightest. So out of here with the revisionist stuff okay?
Imagine how bad the Lakers would've looked in LeBron and AD's absense if it was Caruso, Dwight and McGee you were asking to find our offense instead of Schroeder and Harrell. it'd look a LOT worse.
All these losses tell us is that we are a bad team without Davis, LeBron and Schroeder. Who would've guessed? Imagine what this team would have been last year without Davis LeBron and Rondo. Guarantee you our w/l would be a lot worse. _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:

Probably the same, about a 6 or 7 seed _________________ Previously LBJ23

Lmao. He barley played this season and now we can't ask a max player to protect the rim? _________________ Previously LBJ23

I agree with that.
Right now MJST none of us can really expect anything rational from any of us TBH - I mean, if someone is, great, but, I think we are all coming to terms with this season in our own way. Some rip the FO; others Vog; others something else.
This is sort of the mini melt-down before the big one.
Unless something shifts in a big way. _________________ "One thing I admire about Kuzma is his unwavering confidence. He truly has no idea that he’s not as good as he thinks." - Killer_Z

You should have to apologize before every moronic post that you make. Which by the way is 99% and counting.

Still time to get it right, but if not FO has decisions to make.

Rondo looks good. He wouldn't have been worse than DS because of his ability to pass/lob. Howard is also the same if not better than Drummond. So if this year's team is on par with last year's team, then all of Rob's changes were for nothing except DS and Drummond seemingly asking for a lot more money. _________________ Playoffs is good enough. - Jeanie Buss 2024
No Lebron no AD no championship, doesn't matter who was surrounding them.
Besides I think the NBA championship is wide open, Nets aren't a sure thing either with their injuries.

I suspect last year’s team would not have won either if not for the long break during the season that let LeBron and AD recharge. _________________ Damian Lillard shatters Dwight Coward's championship dreams:
These dudes are beat up and appeared gassed at the moment. What chemistry? I agree if it wasn't broke why fix it? But as has been said, no AD and LBJ with last years team wouldn't have fared better. Short turn around after the bubble especially for LA and Miami caused a shorter recovery time and now all the extra minutes for guys trying to fill the voids.
If the Lakers can somehow get to the 2nd round and rebuild their chemistry, they've got as good a chance as any.
I still believe we will shock the world !! _________________ Mama, There Goes That Mamba.

LBJ is no spring chicken. And we're seeing young guys getting hurt with this crazy regular season schedule. _________________ "Every hurt is a lesson, and every lesson makes you better”
