On a positive note now, I think the Jazz and Suns will do their best to beat the Blazers or they will be waiting to face the Lakers in the first round.

Beating the Blazers will give a chance for the Lakers to be in the 6th spot, so both those teams will avoid them.

I think the Blazers can go 3-2 in their last game. So basically the Lakers need to win all their 5 remaining games to avoid the play-in.

They are fighting for the 1 seed, so number 2 will likely get the lakers. They certainly have incentive to go hard on the blazers

Leking you've done a great job breaking down what we need in terms of wins and losses and playoff/play-in positioning the past couple weeks.

Thanks for that.

No problem, but I stop updating when they lose to the Kings and Raptors, kinda upsetting.

Even if the Blazers lose those games, the Lakers can “tank” themselves.

2 more losses by the Lakers will probably sealed the 6th spot for the Blazers. If that happen, I think they should just rest AD and Bron after securing the 7th or 8th spot.

Well I won't argue with that, the way Vogel is coaching lately.

ISN'T IT SAD LAKERS HAVE TO RELY ON OTHERS TO SAVE THEIR LIFELINE??

Lakers won’t need to try hard to tank any games. As long as Drummond plays both teams will have a chance in every game.

I am not sure 6th seed is worth fighting for, we might need a series under the belt to take on the clippers. Not scared of the jazz or suns one bit

Unless Blazers start to stink it up...unlikely...but...

we are literally the underdog

Disagree. We need as much time as possible on the court as a whole unit before the playoffs or play-in tournament starts.

If Bron and AD are close to 100%. But if not, might as well take a rest and not aggravate it and be sideline in the play-in.

Does the 7 get home court vs. 8th in the Play-In game?
